Food was awful, experience was worse. Booked for a birthday and was seated in a very dingy outdoor area. Waitress came to take drink orders, brought our drinks, then didn't come back for about 25-30 mins. I went up to the bar where she was cleaning glasses and checking her phone to ask if she could please take our food order. She said she couldn't, as only Louie could take food orders, but he was cooking and not available right now. He came out after another few minutes and took our orders. Ordered bread and dips to share the dips were between mediocre and inedible and came with 3 tiny squares of bread. I couldn't tell you what they were (I'm Italian). Halfway through the meal there was a giant cockroach on the ground, we were outside, fair enough. So I asked the waitress if she could please get rid of it, she said she couldn't and would have to get Louie again. By the time he came back, he gave a halfhearted attempt to shoo it away. At that point I was ready to leave. Picture of gnocchi" and cocky. I didn't bother with photos of the rest. Disgusting. Never again. Instead I'd recommend Giallo at Carina for traditional Italian/Sicilian dishes or Siffredi's at Teneriffe for a more modern twist."

Was recently taken to dinner for my birthday. As a lover of Italian cuisine, the food and service here was superb across all 3 courses. Chef and wait staff were attentive. An Italian gem in the suburbs.

Had the chance to revisit Louie after we moved from the area 12 month's ago. Service was excellent and the food amazing. Always a pleasure to catch up with Louie again and enjoy his cooking. Would recommend to anyone looking for great Italian food

This restaurant is perfect for dining with someone you can't stand.The tables seem to be designed for some purpose other than sitting at, with bars underneath digging in to the top of your legs and reminding you that whoever owns this joint has certainly not dined here. The rest of the decor is reminiscent of one of those episodes of Changing Rooms" where what is meant to be an eclectic and fun look comes off as tacky and mismatched.Most importantly

We came here for breakfast and it was the most delicious omelette and calzone we’ve ever had, seriously filling and more than worth the price. We pay $20 extra at coffee club for half the value. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. We will definitely be back, can’t wait to try the dinner menu!

Brilliant food and service. The menu keeps changing and we have found it to be excellent every time. Last night I had the gnocchi and it was fantastic. Well worth a visit.

This is the BEST Italian food I have had... Period.....The food is flawless.The service is impeccable.My wife and I ordered two pasta's aswell as a pizza to share...I was full on the pasta. I only wanted the pizza after the pasta I was in disbelief of how good the pasta tasted. The portion sizes are fantastic.11/10Definitely back again.

It's a pretty well kept secret that all the best food in the local area is served next to a car park, and Casa di Louie is one of the best there is. Louie is a character and a great host. You can expect a well stocked bar, fine cheese, wine, and cured meats, as well as exceptional, delicious, honest, Italian food with classic rock on the stereo as always. You're also guaranteed to leave feeling full and happy. I feel like anyone giving this place a bad review was expecting something else and doesn't deserve to eat here. This place is awesome and every now and then you'll have a dish that will blow your mind. Take my money!

Really enjoyable and authentic Italian food, and the linguine with clams a special on the day, was divine. I have dined at many Italian restaurants and this meal was very good. Great wine selection and the chef owner Louie is very Italian and hospitable a great host. Only been opened. Few months, easy parking , very pleasant and our meals were delicious. Thanks Louie.

I went today with a friend. Beautiful service and a fantastic homemade pasta. My friend had the lasagna and I had the ravioli, both with a beautiful bolognaise sauce. Definitely going back.
