Very friendly customer service, motel easy to find, and they accepted cash payment. The motel looked well maintained and the room was nice.The fit out seemed fairly new. Comfy bed, etc. It looks like they are progressively upgrading. The two old things in the room were the toaster and kettle. Everything else looked new-ish.Has a minibar.Has a guest laundry that cost $8 for a wash and dry at the time I stayed.Right next door to the KFC.Downside - very noisy because it is on the main drag in Bairnsdale and my room was right near the front. Also lots of noise from the males in the room next door but it seemed to be happy, drunk noise.Only other downside - the room was tucked away near the utility/electrical cupboards and another room. On the one hand, that equals secluded. On the other hand, it could make you feel a bit vulnerable. I did not venture out after nightfall and when I left at 6.15am in the dark, I was super-aware of my personal safety when getting to my car.If I stayed again I would request a room along the eastern strip of the motel, which looked more open.

The room was clean, the bathroom have been renovated. The bed was comfortable too. The reception staff was friendly. The downside were the traffic noise and the air con was hard to get a nice temperature. The stay was comfortable overall.

This property is ageless. Clean, comfortable rooms with great service.

Mitchell on Main is in a convenient position in Bairnsdale. The young family who own the motel were so gracious and helpful.The facility was comfortable, clean and fresh.

I recently stayed at this motel and I have to say I was very impressed with the level of service I received. The staff were very accommodating and allowed me to check in early and check out very late, which was a huge help for my schedule. The location of the motel was perfect for my needs and I found it to be very clean and quiet throughout my stay.Overall, I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The friendly staff and excellent amenities make it a standout choice in the area

New owners are friendly & helpful, rooms are dated but clean & fresh. It will be nice see the place once the upgrades are finished

Great spot, walking distance to restaurants. Easy and friendly check in service. Clean, warm and spacious room.

I enjoyed my stay here. My room was renovated to a modern standard, was very comfortable and most importantly, very clean. Service was excellent and very friendly. I’d definitely stay again.

Stayed here twice now- Clean and comfortable bed. Easy access from the main road. Weird parking structure and it can be noisy sometimes if other guests are inconsiderate.
