Opal Alterations & Dry Cleaning

I get the dry cleaning with pick-up and drop off and they do a fantastic job! They always look after my clothes, have great attention to detail, and are very professional and friendly. I’m so glad I found someone who I can trust with my clothes.

I dropped off some pants recently for a small alteration, when I got home after collected them I realised they had given me back the wrong pants.I phoned to discuss plus made a special trip to explain, however they were not interested insisting that I made the mistake.The pants given back to me were a different size and different colour so definitely not my pants. Its very poor business practice and appalling customer service. I will not be going back and if you want your expensive clothing returned I highly recommend you don’t go back either.

The team at Opal Alterations did an incredible job on the alterations for my wedding dress. They made sure whatever they needed to alter would not hinder the structure of the dress and still look good. On the day it was comfortable and held perfectly. The ladies were also super lovely to deal with during the fitting process. Very highly recommend.

I took my wedding dress here for some alterations. I wanted the waist taken in, the hem up, some cups added, the sleeves shortened and a little adjustment done to the bust area. The dress was not a gown but the bodice was entirely embellished with sequins and beads. I had the most kind and patient lady work with me as she measured and marked the dress, pausing multiple times for me to help my little one who wasn't happy about being there with me. I went in a second and third time for checks and each time was so happy with the service. I was also so impressed with the quality of the alterations and their attention to detail. Highly recommend Opal!

I got 6 tall tee shirts that were a little too long for me (I'm 6,4) but they were extremely long and took them here to get altered up. It cost a little more then I'd hoped, but I haven't had to get alterations in years. The stitching is flawless, now I have 6 t shirts that fit me amazing. Very fast service and turn around too. I'd go here in future if I need to. Thanks alot.

Had my wedding dress (with a huge skirt) dry cleaned by Opal. Used the pickup and dropoff service and was amazed by the service. The timing of pickup/dropoff was accurate down to the minute, the engagement and setup of the booking was incredibly easy and well-informed. And the end result was lovely - the wedding dress has been packaged up into a lovely box and ready for storage. Couldn’t be more grateful and happy with the whole service.

I have been coming to Opal Alteration's for over 14 years and they have always delivered the absolute best service for the men's suits and pants I bring to them for alterations. They are fast, friendly and very helpful. I still remember needed a suit tailored for an urgent event, and they were very accommodating and had the job done quickly. I've been going to them for years, and will continue going to them for years. They are the best in the business!
