Coles South Hedland

Most definitely Disappointing Coles I've ever shopped in! Selves are mostly Empty!

Go to Woolworths. They can't keep stock on shelves at Coles and it's filthy. Woolworths is the complete opposite and better prices.

I must go on the wrong day of the week because their freezer section is always on the verge of being empty

A star is probably too much... There are no price labels for a lot of products, and most of the staff have no idea what they are doing there.

Have lived here for a few years now and Coles in South Hedland definitely need to pick up its game a bit. A number of shelves are empty, many products non-existent, trollies look and feel like they've never had a clean, constantly squeezing between the shops large packing trollies that they use to stock shelves. Many products don't have price tags displayed. Some of the veg is often in pretty bad shape. Only one or two checkouts open at any one time. I will say though that the staff are always quite helpful in store any time I needed help and if you want a better shopping experience there, get there at the hour they open. Although in saying that it is often hard to actually find someone to help. Then there is the potent body odour stench from a certain local population that abuses our senses as we try and shop. It is quite bad, often to the point of being quite sickening. Have witnessed a number of times their kids handling the fresh fruit and veg playing with them like toys and throwing things like apples and oranges. Even witnessed the staff turning a blind eye. Their kids are constantly running throughout the store using the isles like their personal race track and no staff ever seems to do anything about it. The security seem to be there to only chat to staff from one shop to another. Don't think I've actually ever seen them do anything. Overall shopping at Coles in South Hedland is a stressful and depressing experience. I know a number of people who live in South Hedland but refuse to shop at Coles much preferring to travel the 15 minute drive to Woolworths in Port Hedland. Coles here could learn a lot of lessons from Woolworths. It is so much a better and more enjoyable shopping experience at Woolworths. The shop looks and feels so much cleaner, many of the certian troubled local population don't live in Port Hedland and there seems to be more staff and is a much easier shop to get around. The fresh fruit and veg seems to be fresher. Overall Woolworths is a much better, less stressful, happier shopping experience and So Much cleaner! So if you can be bothered or have the time, go to Wollies and skip Coles!!

I want to give a 5 star, but being a customer of sth hedland coles for 30+ years, it us at a dismal point, once you sort out the stocking of shelves again and the outstanding environment I know you can do ill be back to give you the stars you deserve

I found this store to have alot of empty shelves.Even though there was only 2 cash registers open, you got through very quick.

It's better than going inside but its notDirect to Boot in Hedland, lazy staff wont step down 3 steps, so you gotta get out & pack it in the car by yourself...

It looked like a zombie apocalypse had been through. Not alot on shelves and isle walkways full of pallets

The service lady in the self check out miss use her power or uneducated . She always play hard time if she donot like you. She try to stop selling 3 bottles of cooking oil to you just because she donot like you . All she did is that she said she need to get approval from manager to sell you 3 bottles of cooking oil even though everyone knew there is no limit on that item for the time being . Coles have a notice on every checkout post to let every service staff to know which items is on limitation policy, she donot look at it , she prefer to call manager and wait the busy manager to verbally confirm . Customers have more knowledge for coles’s limit policy . She either need to get educated to read the notice next to the counter post or just have change her moral values. She is just sucks. She prefer to waste customers ‘ time or her time to do useless things . Read the notice on the post next to you not ask your manager every time .it is shame that the busy coles have this kind of wasting time staff to mark around.
