Beautiful restaurant, lovely staff and delicious food! Came here for my partners birthday and we definitely over ordered, but everything was delicious and the portions were great! The dips and the breadbasket was so addictive, and I really enjoyed the lamb sambousek! The prices were decent considering how much food we actually had, and it was nice and quiet when we went so the atmosphere was very relaxed.Fantastic place, will definitely be back!

Excellent Middle Eastern restaurant in Newtown with very tasty and high quality meals. Licensed and has some cocktails and mid-range wines. Service was friendly. Interiors are very nice but still feels comfortable and it was not noisy. Creme Brulee tasted a bit unusual like it had rosewater or something and mousaka was not a proper Greek one so best to avoid that.

I visited Missony for the Iftar menu during Ramadan. Variety was decent with various entrees and a few mains. Standouts for me: lentil soup, kibbeh naye (raw beef), kousa mahshi (zucchini stuffed with meat) and fatteh (chickpeas with yoghurt). The lamb kabsa looked impressive but the meat was on the dry side. Overall, the food was more homely and rustic rather than amazing, but we still enjoyed it.

If you're looking for a Middle Eastern restaurant with a twist, this is a venue to visit! While they have all the traditional dishes that remind me of home, their menu also offers a unique take on Middle Eastern cuisine that will leave you wanting more. With so many options to choose from, even the pickiest eaters will find something to enjoy, and if you're vegan or vegetarian, you'll be thrilled to know that there are plenty of delicious options for you as well. The fact that the restaurant is halal but also serves alcohol, just shows their commitment to inclusivity and bringing people together. What we ate:• Kibbeh• Hummus, Smoky Eggplant, Muhammara & Labneh Dips with their house breadbasket• Fattoush• Missony Salad• Caramelised Honey Halloumi• Crispy Calamari• Za'atar Dynamite Tiger Prawns• Garlic Prawns• Sizzling Tiger Prawns• Moroccan King Prawns• Kousa Ablama• Sizzling Beef Sharwama• Mixed Grill Platter• Missony Dessert PlatterThe passion and love the owner has for his venue is something else. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, and that's what made this dinner so special.[invite]

On Sunday, we visited Missony for their Ramadan Iftar buffet and we were impressed by the excellent service provided by the business owner. The service was professional, super friendly, and the food was delicious, with an array of authentic Lebanese dishes like vine leaves, shish Barrack, mansaf, and more. Despite the slightly high cost for the amount of food as desserts and drinks were not included. The buffet options were about 7-8 mains which is great and the rest of the food was served to the table such as the entrees and soup. the overall experience was pretty good. I highly recommend visiting Missony for their great food and friendly business owner.

Fabulous Middle Eastern spot in Newtown! I ate way too much, which is always the sign of great food.We tried this place because our usual was closed for renovations. We checked out a few Lebanese spots in Newtown, but this one had the most vegetarian options and it was fab.Hubby ordered the shish tawook (chicken) which he says had great flavor. I had the arabeet (cauliflower) and falafel, which were both yummy. We also ordered kibbeh (delish), babaganoush, hummus and garlic dip.The style is modern, so the babaganoush came with balsamic and pomegranate seeds. It was nice, but to be honest, would have been fine without (we're not fancy!). Had a lovely smoky flavour. My only criticism is that the hummus was a bit bland. But really, that's splitting hairs.Delish, give it a try. Looks like it has a great bar too, but we just did takeaway.

I recently had the pleasure of attending an halal Iftar buffet, and I'm happy to award this exceptional eatery a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars for its ambiance, quality of food, and service.Ambiance:Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was tastefully done, with a mix of traditional and modern elements, creating a cozy and comfortable setting. Soft lighting and elegant table arrangements added to the overall ambiance, making it an ideal place for families and friends to break their fast together. I personally seated outside under a heater lamp.Quality of Food:The Iftar buffet spread was impressive, featuring a wide variety of dishes to suit different palates. The restaurant showcased an array of appetizers, main courses, and representing a delightful fusion of middle eastern flavors. I particularly enjoyed the succulent rice with meats, the chicken satay ,kebbah and the flavorful lentil soup. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite.Service:The staff were attentive, courteous, and professional. They made sure that our dining experience was enjoyable and hassle-free. From refilling our water glasses to clearing away used plates promptly, their commitment to customer satisfaction was apparent. In conclusion, it offers a delightful Iftar buffet that is sure to please both the eyes and the palate. With its inviting ambiance, mouth-watering food, and attentive service, I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable Iftar gathering. While there is some room for improvement, my experience was overwhelmingly positive, and I look forward visiting again after ramadan.Note : while the banner says under 12 kids are free I was charged for a 6 years old half which is acceptable for me personally* and was charged none for a 2 year old.
