Delicious, fresh and highly nutritious quality freshly made food to take home in your own container if you prefer which is a huge bonus. I feel bad about using single use containers even though they use compost able ones. This is an excellent place to buy for vegans and those who don’t t mind going without meat as the dishes are so tasty you don’t feel deprived! All dishes are made from locally sourced produce. Another big plus.

I don't usually come to BSV but I am a new local. I grabbed a flat white from LaCucina and it was actually so bad I threw it away (med flat white for $6.50). The girl on the coffee machine at LET THEM EAT this morning, is an absolute gem! If I knew her name, I would mention it so I hope this shout out gets to her! She genuinely smiled to every guest she made a coffee for, unsure what kind of day she had, but I could tell she cared what her coffees tasted and looked like. Keep up the great work! I cant say the same for any of the other cafes I saw walking around this busy Saturday morning. Thanks again!

. Healthy tucker.. Looks to be chemical - free, organic sort of ingredients.. Authentic.. Popping up all over the place.. Good when you need a bite to eat in a busy place.

For our monthly luncheon, I suggested to my friend to eat here. I was curious to see what their mains tasted like because I had sampled several of their cookies and cakes at a meeting and they were delicious (carrot cake, brownie, sesame tahini cookie, banana bread- I know, I ate a lot!). I had the whipped potato pie, my friend had one of the giant sized mushroom arancini balls. We forgot to take photos. Both were delicious and flavorful, the lentils and herb- onion filling of my potato pie reminded me of cottage pie. Of course we saved room for dessert and coffee. I had the fudgy chocolate cake with freeze dried raspberries and my friend had the chocolate raspberry bar. Intense flavors, so good. Noteworthy was the friendly service despite it being a busy lunch time on a Friday. We were wedged into the corner booth and flagged a staff member for water- she was so friendly and obliging even though I know the customers are supposed to help themselves. I will be back for more healthy and delicious vegetarian foods!

I have to comment on one of the staffs amazing customer service. Her name was Eden and I told her I was coeliac . She was so helpful and went above and beyond in making sure there was no cross contamination. This service has only happened on a few occasions and is much appreciated for those who have a seriously allergy to gluten. She is an asset to the business and super cheerful! Keep up the good work and hiring staff that are informed about coeliacs. It really means more than you know!

Real tea! Heaven. The Indian spiced carrot cake was delicious too, although a rather enormous slice.( I won't have to eat for the rest of the day!) I love the decor of this little retreat from the bustle of Burnside Village, it's well worth a visit if in need of a decent cuppa!
