Was a wet, cold Saturday we visited the hotel. I had booked in advance earlier in the week, unsure if it was going to be busy or not. The booking portal was easy to manage.I was hoping for something light, and my sister and I shared 3 entrees.We both had the potato skins, they were delicious and came with a light cheese sauce. The bacon was tasty and well cooked. We also chose the arancini balls, 3 to the serve, a little bit bigger than golf balls. Golden brown and full of mushroomy goodness. Finally, we chose the halloumi and fig salad. The halloumi was deliciously squeaky and was dressed in a sweet sauce that complimented the salty goodness.Mr. had a beef snitzel that he enjoyed, tender and moist with a creamy mushroom sauce. Mum had the fish and chips, and she was very pleased with her choice.Service was attentive, and the meals came out quickly.If I could fault anything world just be, it was cool in the dining room, and there was no open fire. I felt it was all that was missing on an otherwise lovely afternoon in the hills.

We went there tonight, there was no sign at the entrance telling us to wait to be seated and no one to give us instructions. So we found a table to sit down.Then we saw a waitress taking orders at the table next to us. We waited for few minutes, no one come to take orders, instead I saw two waitresses were talking at the other side of the restaurant.My husband had to go to them to place the order.There were stains on the table and it’s sticky. Definitely not hygienic.The Schnitzel was just ok. I saw the reviews saying it’s so good but it was just ok.I won’t recommend this restaurant. The food is mediocre and not welcoming service.

Have not visited this hotel for a couple of years and since the new owners have taken over management. There has been some remodeling and noticed the Pokies room has been moved from one side of the restaurant to the other. The dinning area appeared more spacious with a fresh feel. We visited on a Tuesday night and on arrival the restaurant was quite busy. We had booked and was shown to our table. After about 10 minutes they returned to take our order. We got an awesome week night special of a burger and a drink for $15. We ordered these thinking they would be smaller than their usual burgers on the menu and thought it would take forever as the restaurant was so busy. How wrong were we! Our meal was delivered to our table reasonably quickly and the burgers were huge. You will need two hands to handle these and they were absolutely delicious and came with the lot. They were served with a generous amount of crispy chips. I can not rate these burgers high enough and for $15 with a drink. Best value around. I recommend the Balhannah Hotel and their fantastic burger deal. I will 100% be visiting again here again soon.

Medium rare steak - Butchers Cut was amazing with the sweet barbeque sauce and potatoes.Arizona Burger was also amazing, the patty is way wider than the bun, and it's full of flavor.The site was able to handle 10 people coming by without booking with perfection, which is amazing to see.Highly recommended, will come back for more.

First came here in 2019 and again in 2022.I had the Californian Super Food Bowl both times.It's a light but filling vegetarian meal, that's a nice alternative to the pastas, burgers or pizzas on most vegetarian menus.They had a free trivia night when we were there which was fun as well.

First time, won't be the last. Staff friendly, ordered drinks, then food. Did not have to wait long,good portions. No complaints. Would recommend anyone driving through, stop have meal. Will not disappoint.

My partner and I come here for dinner whenever we get the chance (we live an hour away). We just love the food and atmosphere, and would definitely suggest this place to friends and family.

Have been a few times and always been nice - the last time about 6 months ago. Lunch today was an extremely long wait, 12 pieces of gnocchi lost in a chowder of tin tomatoes; pizza inundated with anchovies and the service was very odd and not welcoming. (Although, the younger waitress fair hair was lovely.) The tables seemed too cramped. We asked for the remaining pizza to take home - and we were given a box to pack it in ourselves at the table!! Service today really put me off from going back. We left to go elsewhere for dessert and coffee.
