Brasserie L'Entrecôte
This restaurant has a friendly and cosy atmosphere, fast service and quality food. It's comparable to other French restaurants we have tried in both in Sydney and Paris, Like any fine dining experience some of the dishes are terrible value while others are reasonable, we enjoyed the duck, green beans with garlic, walnut salad. We enjoyed the scallops, there were 4 which made it easy to share. The steak was ok in flavour, but not very good value. The secret sauce tasted like a fine puree of basil and sage. The steak matched quite well with the sauce from the duck. The desserts looked delicious, but I was unable to fit them in. Maybe next time.

We had a great dining experience here for our wedding anniversary. The crab entree was amazing. The snails and steak for the mains are top notch. The in-house green secret sauce is definitely to die for.

It was an unusual spot for a French bistro but we hiked it up there .The food was good and well balanced. Maybe a little small on portions, and costs a few extra dollars than what I would price it for, not on the whole, a very enjoyable meal.

Brasserie L'Entrecôte
Very gourmet experience for a reasonable price. Great French food, French music, French staff and French vibes in general. I highly recommend the sirloin! Comes carved already and constantly warmed by candle on the table! Friendly staff and although previous visits precovid the service was slow, they have improved immensely. Desserts are not to be missed and are quite the spectacle. Try an authentic french cider served in a ceramic bowl too!! Highly recommend.

A place I would highly recommend.Food is really good, well prepared and cooked. High quality service. As a French native, it is actually pleasant to eat in a place where all the waiters/waitresses has a French accent, it’s really reminding me the spirit of a French brasserie.Special mention for the cocktail “Amareto sour”, which was hands down the best cocktail I’ve ever have.

This fine, French restaurant harbours all the qualities of one in France (through its warm ambience and french decor), while the food is rich, superb and flavourful. The staff are cordial and have a brilliant understanding of the the menu (I asked for recommendations), and all three courses we had were flawless. I recommend dinning here for a celebration or special event, as my experience here has been one to remember.

Having visited Paris multiple times, I am extremely impressed to have come across a restaurant in Sydney that does it better than a restaurant in Paris itself. Jerome was fantastic in helping choose food and wine. Warm and enjoyable experience. It was a 10/10 experience. Will definitely be back!

My first time with french dining, and they made me feel beyond warm and welcomed.I went here on Valentines day 2023, it was a beautiful set menu (that I was able to confirm was gluten free substitutable where necessary)That enabled me to experience the most delightful dining experience I have ever had. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant I was taken care of. I was able to ask about some elements of the food that I hadn't yet experienced before and wasn't quite sure of, though I could already tell it was delicious. They were able to answer exactly what I was after. They recommend expert wine pairings based upon the food and dessert that was following.Truly, I have never had a more attentive and patient serving experience before. Now, the delectable food.I don't really have words to describe how amazing the food was. I can quote from the waiter who described my expressions when eating some of the first bites, I don't think I have to ask how the food is

Booked at the last minute and they slotted our 4 for dinner. The restaurant felt very authentic French with staff dressed in immaculate French waitering attire, the staff were French and felt we had just landed in Paris. Loved the classic steak brasserie menu theme and once our orders of escargot, Soufflé, Tartare, Thermidor and juicy steaks and creamy Paris mash were locked away the service was swift and organised. The choice of dessert was tough, but the Tarte tartin was a lush winner! The quality of the meals was outstanding and a return is imminent! As a last minute find, we couldn’t be better pleased with all aspects of this superb Brasserie.
