Often call in for coffee light snack whilst shopping for plants. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. If you don't mind sharing it with a few lizards of sorts kids love it.

Nice little cafe with all meals freshly made. Great atmosphere. Can be very busy, so make sure you have a reservation for larger groups or busy periods.

This cafe is in such lovely surroundings, beautiful to sit on the deck and enjoy the wildlife and nursery around you (the visiting lizards are a real highlight). Unfortunately the service and wait times are average and the food is somewhat overpriced for what it is. Really love the sticky finger wedges however and keep coming back for them.

Slow service. Meals took over 40 minutes and the restaurant was just over half full.Prices are okay and you get a decent serve. Chips are always fresh and hot.

Lorikeet's Coffee Shop
I have visited several times & didn't realise I haven't done a review yet. From the beginning to the end, great service by all staff.Considering I visited on Easter Monday, they accommodated my guest & I. Service was speedy, both in ordering & receiving both coffee & meal quickly. I also ordered a take-home slice of the hazelnut torte and was advised they would pop it in the fridge ready to go once I had finished. It does adjoin to a nursery where they also do pat & play experiences with sting rays & sharks, which I have previously done and was such a rewarding time.I ordered a coffee which was nice but not one of the best I have had. Again, I'm not a coffee connoisseur so this could be a me thing.I ordered the sweet French toast & was torn over that or the savoury. I guarantee you when that came out I just took in the biggest smell of it and it was delicious.I would definitely return, although groups are requested to book a table.

Despite what their website says you DO HAVE TO BOOK even if it's just 2 of you. My friend and I went for brunch and were allocated a table that was reserved but we had plenty of time. Really lovely place with nice staff and very nice food.A bit noisy though. Why do we all have to shout at one another. Despite the awful din, my friend and I just spoke in our normal voices.Plus the is a Pee Wee couple who like to fly in and have a gander. They never land on you or your table. Back of a chair maybe. Lovely little birds. What do you expect in a nursery as good as Nielsen's?

Lorikeet's Coffee Shop
Lorikeet’s Coffee Shop is set in a delightful nursery setting. The atmosphere is peaceful and a great place of mindfulness. The seating is basic and the coffee ordinary. Staff are very friendly and engage readily with the customers. The plants surrounding the cafe and the beautiful waterfalls flowing soothingly into a pool of water make for a relaxing place of rejuvenation. Add to this the happy bird life twittering away and it all makes a an idyllic setting.
