IGA Port Melbourne Plus Liquor

Staff are lovely. Herbs are so fresh!! While it is very small, it has alot on offer for its size.

Used to like shopping there but noticed the amount of people going inside without QR Coding and without Masks, zero covid control, they should be reported.

I really don't like the layout, variety or customer service in this IGA. It reminds me of Coles PM at the peak of COVID-19 food shortages. I walked straight past the ready made meals at the front due to a lack of signage, and when I tried to purchase one with my other items, the customers from behind pushed me past the tills! Server didn't tell anyone to move back, and encouraged the other person to put their items next to mine on the counter! Server didn't offer me a bag or help me to pack my groceries in the bag to speed up the process. I awkwardly shoveled my groceries into my bag and left.There's no clear layout or place to stand whilst waiting for the till - You'll end up in an aisle or in the way of people entering the store. The front fridge area should be removed in favour of another counter, as the two small registers are right next to each other and offer little room.As this was going on, the liquor assistant just stood at her station, and didn't offer to process any sales whilst the line was backing up. I can't begin to imagine how this place runs behind the scenes.

Cool stor that opens late and serve alcohol.

Great prices and everything, but annoying service because I took my dog in and multiple staff were fine with her when I asked and then when I go to the checkout I get drilled about not having dogs in the store, ticked me quite a bit because when I had the guts to stand up to him with my reason of bringing her in was he put his head down and served me. Apart from that good store. So if you don't got a dog don't worry really.

Given up for good on this place. Always too busy stocking shelves than serving people. Prefer to support local independent buisnesses but these owners just don’t care.I can recommend the new Port Melb Grocer and the IGA at Beacon Cove. Much better alternatives to this store with great service

Perfectly located in Bay Street. Has great long trading hours.

Great location to have an IGA. Nothing close by to purchase some handy groceries needed when you live in the vicinity. Just like the old days of Milk bars we used to have in every corner.

The night manager was agressive yelling and swearing at me telling me I had no money to the point that I feared fir my safety. It is not the first time I have been subjected to his intimidating and agressive behaviour. They charged me twice fir my shopping kept some items and refused to give me my receipt so he stole my money and my shopping and I was that frightened I left the shop. I intend to report him to police. The most scary experience I've ever had in a shop. I did nothing wrong he was out of control. Be careful you are not having your money stolen too
