Rainbow Nails

I’ve never written a review but it needs to be said. I’ve been going here since 2016 but somehow the service has gone downhill terribly fast. Most of the employees are so rude, disrespectful and hostile. My nails and toenails were done terribly leading me having to come back the next day to rectify the issue. The shellac didn’t set, the shellac was lumpy and my nails were incredibly uneven. There was a lady next to me waiting for over half an hour for someone to come back and finish her pedicure. She ended up walking out. Customer service is horrible and I’ll never come back. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!!!! Listen to the reviews. They need to do some serious rehiring. It’s disgusting.

Attitude is terrible, been twice now and got the same lady....nails look good but nearly walked out due to the aggression - throwing my hands back and forth and giving me filthy looks when I asked her to cut nails shorter and later, put glitter on. I spent $70 ($50 for nails and $20 to buy hand scrub), they obviously didn't value my custom - lady was so angry that I asked for glitter she didn't even let me choose which one! Just left the salon genuinely upset as the whole experience was verging on assault and I paid good money but didn't get exactly what I wanted as I was too terrified to push it re the glitter! Never again.

I do agree with most of these reviews in that the staff do not give much effort in making conversation with you and are not always the most polite. BUT in saying that they do a pretty good job at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a good (not excellent) nail salon I would try Rainbow. I have been to far more expensive nail salons that have done a worse job by making my nails look clunky and not taking the polish all the way to the cuticle. I haven't had issues such as these at Rainbow. Generally, the staff are skilled and know what they are doing.

After having false nail for two years I decided to take them off to discover how weak and brittle my nails had become (not done here) rainbow nails suggested sms on my nail for two weeks to strengthen them. I hope this works. If it does I will be back!

Horrible experience don’t bother .. this is the result of nails I got 4 days ago!! Chipped/ poorly shaped and irritated rough cuticles from having solution on for too long to remove old shellac nails!!! On application rough and had to ask to be gentler as was in agony !!! After being chemically burnt, then burred, and upset about shapes being off I’d never go again .. and if anything really should refund as now it’s going to take months to fix !

Giving even one star to this place is not worth it. I am not the type to usually rate and review however this place deserves to only go downhill. I went in there for my girlfriend as it was her birthday tomorrow. They had told us it was a 20 minute wait so we waited. This prolonged and we were finally sat down near the 40 minute mark. Whilst the nails were being “done” they would unprofessionally chat on the phone and keep getting up to do other things. The end results were horrific. The main reason we came to a nail salon was because we were under the assumption that they had experience and they were good at what they do. If it were something simple, we would not have even come. After applying the nail polish the end result did not look anything like what we wanted. They didn’t even try to amend what they did and didn’t seem to care. It had felt like they just wanted to get through the list of customers. We came back explaining that we were wanting a colour change and we would not mind paying again but all the lady did was argue with my girlfriend saying it was what she chose. In fact that was not the case. The lady had explained that the matte (which was a completely different colour) would change into what she wanted over time. That was the most ridiculous half assed explanation to just get it over and done with.All in all. Horrendous experience. I did not realise they were already poorly rated on Google and would never visit again.0/10 would not recommend.

not recommended ever!They filed my natural nails with the drill even if I asked about carefulness before, because I had already thin nails.Furthermore, they charged more than they told me before service. That was just hard to take off gel to them, but was not my nails fault.The staffs are not kind, even so rude.

It's just as easy as saying that i love this place and it's my favourite nail place in the garden city and I've tried every one of them lol. I always love my nails and also the staff is nice and friendly . Also 10% off when you use cash ! Who doesn't love a good discount .

Jenny is amazing. When I pick a design she always makes them amazing and offers advice. Love getting my nails done here
