Central location, right next to the beach. Nice and quiet. Room was spotless clean and comfy. Indoor heated pool a plus. Friendly management. Free parking. What else could you ask for?

Very comfortable and clean rooms with good heating, shower, bed and parking. Pat and Adrian are flexible with arrival time and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay.

Great little motel with heated pool and comfy rooms. The owners are currently renovating all the bathrooms and whilst we weren't fortunate to get one they did show me through one the following day and they are awesome. Our room however was still very clean and comfy and this motel is the ideal stop the night before or the night after you get of the ferry. The owners are super friendly and helpful.

This place is amazing! Such a warm welcoming when we arrived by just beautiful people owning this place! Walked into the room and was beyond surprised! Didn’t expect it to be so new and fresh! And the cleaning?! Perfect! Attention to all small details! Me and mom had a very nice stay! I loved also the mini milks they had in the fridge for my morning coffee usually this is not provided! I love this place! Everything was excellent! Me and mom will be coming back when we need to stay in Devon port! Adding an 6 star for the little furry friend that welcomed us with love in reception too!

A nice place to stay. Room had been recently renovated and was very comfortable. Having a microwave and some plates and cutlery in the room was very convenient.

There were only positives for our 1 night stay at the Barclay. Sparkling clean, plenty of space for our luggage, comfortable bed and pillows, proper kitchenette with 2 burner stove top, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric kettle and toaster and well kitted out with cooking utensils, crockery etc, with a dining table with comfortable chairs. It was nice to wake and be able to prepare breakfast with a complimentary selection of the tea or coffee available. A smart TV is provided in both the living room and the main bedroom. Nice to have the toilet separate to the bathroom with plenty of towels and a selection of toiletries provided. Parking was in an allocated bay at the door to our accommodation in a quiet location, so no lugging of luggage any great distance or searching for parking. This was all for what we considered a very reasonable price. While we did not get a chance to take advantage of the heated swimming pool, it looked amazing. It was an absolute joy to finish our Tasmanian sojourne at the Barclay. Can only recommend.

Spacious accomodation, with a shower I didn't want to get out of!Heat pump warms the whole unit beautifully.Bed was really comfy.Has enough extra blankets/loo paper/pillows etc, without having to go and get some more.It's in a nice quiet area, and the other occupants were respectful also.

Used the inn as a stopover before boarding the ferry. Turned out to be one of the best stops of our entire trip around Tasmania. Wish I had stayed longer. Friendly, clean, very well equipped and well run.
