The woman who runs this place is awesome. So friendly and welcoming. Great spot to stay if you have a pet. The view out over the river is incredible. The rooms are unassuming but very serviceable. The beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend.

5 stars is simply not a high enough rating for this place. After experiencing a vehicle breakdown, we required last minute accommodation for ourselves and our mastiff dog. Helena and Grant were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to help us through a very difficult afternoon. The rooms were perfect size and extremely tidy. The back yard was absolutely beautiful and extremely relaxing. Will ensure we come back for another stay.

Excellent dog-friendly motel for our one-night pit stop at The Jabiru Motel in Nambucca Heads on the way from Sydney to QLD. Excellent customer service (above and beyond), extremely neat and tidy rooms, great shower, very clean. Only a 5 min drive to excellent dinner at Mathilda's, and great coffee and breakfast at Good Time Charlie's. Very comfortable. 100% would stay again.

This is a great place for a one or two night stopover. It may not look the greatest but the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Very good linen and appliances. Convenient to the RSL for a meal and a drink.The best part is the undercover parking at the front rooms, great if you arrive/depart in a rainstorm, and a very reasonable tarrif ! We have stayed here recently on two occasions travelling south from Queensland. Helena is very helpful and welcoming.

It's OK with regards to value for money.Has a big TV in each room, free Wifi, average beds and room to move around on site.Rooms don't get cleaned properly with dust everywhere (air con, TV, fan blades, walls).Bathrooms are super awkward to negotiate as an able bodied young person and probably need a design re-think.

We had such a lovely stay at The Jabiru Motel. Helena was so accommodating for our young dog. The room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying again when passing through Nambucca Heads!

Often stay for work. Lovely, clean rooms. Black and white and grey themed elegance. Comfey beds. Spoilt with tea Robin Timms coffee bags and hot chocate for the sweet tooth's. Lovely hosts and a lovely stay. Treat yourself to a BBQ around back of motel in guest BBQ area with a lovely river view.

We were very late on our motorbikes due to the holiday traffic - but Helena and her husband were kind and welcoming on arrival and departure. In the morning we were so surprised to see the beautiful vista of the Nambucca River behind the hotel (which we couldn’t see when we arrived late in the evening). The owners are passionate about their community and welcoming travellers. Great local tips and lovely chat before we set off again on our road trip - expected a quick pit stop but left with gratitude ☮️

We stayed here with our pup for one night. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The room was small, however it had all that we needed, great size shower, fridge, microwave and full kitchen. The room was fresh and clean. The grounds are very well kept with lovely views of the river. This was a perfect overnight location, not far off the highway and very quiet. I recommend this motel and I will stay again if I am travelling through.
