I recently made a big purchase from James Lane at Supa Centa and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I would never use James Lane again the customer service from the store in Kensington was shocking. I took 3 days off work to receive my new sofa as told 3 different delivery times. Logged a complaint and still waiting to hear back over a week later. Best thing about this experience was the actual delivery drivers were brilliant and the sofa to be fair is good quality. But the store totally spoilt my experience and now I am 3 holidays down due to their lack of service.

Great service from Tom, good products, and reasonable turnaround on delivery. We live 2nd storey and it was worth getting delivery.

Bought a beautiful and quality lounge from James Lane.We received impeccable service from Ninaand William and we wouldn’t hesitate to ratethis company very highly.

After going into every store we came back here to purchase the dining table we fell in love with. Quality and price was on point and the variety was awesome in one small space they had every thing you needed to decorate your home. William our salesman was a great guy and helped pick out some great cushions , he even threw a little gift. Great service thanks guys.

Having some significant difficulties with our purchase at the moment. We spent over two thousand on a dining table & bench that came with surface scratches.We let the store know and they submitted a warranty claim to replace the goods. Unfortunately the replacements also had damages: this time a bump on the table (though fewer scratches) and the bench was more or less the same as the previous one.I’d like to give a more positive review because I thought the in-store customer service was great, but so far we have been underwhelmed with the quality control.If this was cheap furniture like IKEA we wouldn’t really care but at this price point we have higher expectations.Have contacted them today about the damaged replacement goods and hopefully they will help us come to an agreement all parties are happy with.

I would not recommend this store.Came in the store looking to purchase a lounge in early December 2021, all was good and was promised that the lounge would arrive early to mid January 2022.We were really looking forward to it, but no update was given. I called the first time and they said that the lounge would be in store and ready to be delivered the following week.The following week came and still no update, so I called again and they told me unfortunately there has been a delay and it would come the next week.I waited until the following week, and no update. This time I called and the head office of James Lane said that the lounge was actually on back order and the person whom I previously contacted shouldn't have promised me that it was coming this week. They said that if I still wanted it, they had stock in Queensland and it could arrive in 2-3 weeks. They told me to ask the store I purchased the lounge in, which is the one in Moore Park.I gave them a call to find out what was happening to my order. And this time the person told me that it was not only in back order, but the model of the couch that I ordered was now discontinued. And that there was nothing she could do about it. If I wanted the couch I would need to get the one that is available on the floor and that maybe they will give me a better price for it. The experience was terrible so I unfortunately had to ask for a refund.I rarely write any reviews, but this is such a terrible experience that I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same thing. Waste of time, 2 months of waiting and no result.
