Rouge Hair

Great hair day I had yesterday at Rouge. Jim and I hit it off from the time the lovely Miss Ella introduced us. In no time my matronly Bob was made into an exciting new style. Once again thanks for the fun experience. Once you have been Rouged you will be come a life long Rougette.

Highly recommend this place the staff are so amazing there so sweet, my hair feels beautiful it came out soft and silky I honestly love this place definitely recommend people to try it out!!!

Wow! Thank you Jim !!!I went with long thick heavy hair and was attached to the long-hair idea but I let total freedom to my hairstylist Jim to just go with his skills and I have the BEST haircut ever! He knew what to do to enhance the quality of my hair, playing with the curls instead of taming them and the layering is just right with my face shape. After the first wash at home, I am super happy! I can easily style my hair!!!!

They do not seem to respect their customer’s time, or shall I say this customer’s time. I went to the saloon for a haircut and colouring twice. The first time I waited quite a bit, had an OK haircut and was happy with the colouring. There were numerous attempts at upselling and I ended up paying more than what was initially agreed on. Terri also told me I could come back to just get the fringe trimmed but when I did so a month later, she refused to see me on the grounds of ‘being too busy’. Because of that I did not go back there for a year and a half but as they are the closest saloon to where I live I thought to give them another chance.The second time my experience was much worse. I booked a day in advance for 10am the next morning but when I arrived, I was sat down and kept waiting without anyone telling me what was going on. They kept on offering tea or coffee though and acting very disappointed because I did not want any.At around the half an hour mark I raised an issue with one of the staff and Terri came to tell me that she got caught up with another person and will be another two or three minutes but with an attitude of it is not her problem. After an additional five minutes of waiting, I decided to leave.As I was exiting, she came up to me, and I said sorry I am leaving. Her response? “I am sorry you feel that way” – a 101 example of a fake apology. I guess given that she is the owner and has an established business and many good reviews here, she simply does not care. Of course, they could have initially organized their time better, or told me straight away what the wait was to be, they could have sent a text message earlier or could have offered to somehow compensate for my lost time. Instead, Terri made me the problem. So after these three experiences I would say: pretentious, dishonest and disrespectful.

I went into the salon just looking for Haircare advice and spoke with Terri. I can honestly say I’ve never been so blown away with the genuine service she provided. I didn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable and she took the time to actively listen to my concerns and give me the best advice possible to have my hair feeling nice again. I will definitely be booking with Terri, and recommend her just based on that 15/20 minute interaction.

Jim had a lovely manner and my son was very happy with his haircut. We will definitely go back again.

They were so kind and accommodating on a Friday morning to squeeze me in when I was desperate for a makeover. Shelby does the most stunning curls! Lovely people. Highly recommend.
