The Heavens Mountain Escape

Lady on the phone was incredibly rude. Called up to inquire about prices and availability, as soon as I was told there was nothing available tonight she hung up on me. Called straight back as she never answered my other question about rates (for future reference). Was told to look on the website instead of just helping me, even when it said on their google page to call to inquire. Then mid sentence she hung up on me again! Couldn’t believe it!Will never come here in the future which is disappointing because I thought it looked nice, idiot on the phone ruined that for us.

Spent 2 nights in Elysium cottage with my partner. Lovely & cosy place to stay! Beautiful and peaceful location with very friendly goats nearby. The gorgeous alpacas greeted us on our first morning. The welcome basket with fresh produce was much appreciated. Heavy rainfall before our arrival caused some road closures and left grounds sodden but nothing a pretty coastal detour and gumboots couldn't solve. Highly recommend this place for some R&R. Only downside to our trip was trying to find some decent coffee in town. Ha! But the fish & chips at the pub was a winner! Didn't fancy being woken by the property rooster at 430am either but that's farm life for you! Would definitely stay at Heavens Mountain Escape again.*stay was end of May 2022

Absolute piece of paradise that is really close to Sydney. Jan is an amazing host that really helped in organising my surprise proposal. I highly recommend anyone wanting an escape from the city that 'The Heavens' is the place to be.

We spent the weekend down at the heavens. I can't stress enough how peaceful this place is. As soon as we arrived we felt like we were a million miles away. We loved the goats and one very loud very vocal kitty that came to say hello near the goat pen.The wild life is abundant. With wombats feeding in front of our cabin. Plenty of birds and an assortmt of other furry creatures.The room was very tidy and very well appointed.All up I highly recommend this place

You can tell why they call it the Heavens pretty quickly. The alpacas were great, and the views spectacular. Really enjoyed our stay, and will be going back.

Such an amazing place and overall experience. We stayed with our young children and were blown away by the beauty of cottage and the views. Jan was friendly and our kids loved all the animals, especially Gus, Will and Kevin Bacon. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Simply amazing. If you want a place to relax in the middle of the nature, this is probably one of the best hotels. Although the owners changed the plans in the last minute because there was a problem in one of the cottages and we had to stay in another cottage , everything was perfect and they made our stay so good. Total privacy. The alpacas are very friendly and there are other animals like wombats. The views were stunning too. I hope we can come back soon.

Spectacular location! Remote cottages in the lovely Barrengarry/ Kangaroo valley. Beautiful wildlife, and cute alpacas just roaming.

Magical Farm stay for our family. Jan was really hospitable and caring of both the animals and environment. We learned a lot and very much enjoyed our stay. The children were out with the goats from early morning just hanging out with them. Other animals were Alpacas, guinea fowls, ducks, pigs, dogs, turkeys and chicks. Thank you for a great stay.

An absolutely amazing location and view. Coupled with great amenities and a very helpful host. We were lucky to see kangaroos and a wombat! Not to mention the friendly alpacas :) And if you love stars and photography another reason to come here
