Had dinner with extended family last Saturday night (7 people)last minute booking but accommodated even with young kids and fusy eaters. Food was absolutely perfect every dish and everyone was very happy even my young daughter who is very picky( and my chef wife). Service by front of house staff was acommodating and very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely be a go to local.wish them all the best!

I do not recommend ‘Heart of Europe’ as a food destination.We are new to the area and read local restaurant reviews, so naturally tried the venue.This is a very extensive review, that I hope the owners will use as constructive critique rather than a negative rant.Firstly, you have the perfect opportunity to create a gorgeous local restaurant for locals and repeat business. I can positively tell you we won’t be back, here’s why:- We requested sparkling water however the waitress did not know if it was available, so we were offered bottles of soda water (available at any supermarket). It is fairly common for restaurants to stock sparkling water.- We were asked if we would like to order wine, we requested a bottle of the Chenin Blanc to which the waitress had to check again if it was available. On return we were told “sorry there’s only half a glass left, you’ll have to order something else”. We ordered a Pinot Gris which tasted like box wine.- we were told about the specials, I ordered the Camembert Rösti and my partner the shrimp. The Camembert Rösti was a whole block of cheese microwaved with some type of scorching on top served with soggy mixed salad and slices of bread. We were promptly told that the bread served was not the normal bread, so we had to just take what what was available. The shrimp entree was tasteless and served with another unnecessary soggy salad.- we ordered mains from the main menu, chicken and pork belly. After ordering we were told that there was no chicken available and would have to take the chicken from the specials menu. So we ended up with ‘Chicken Albanese’ - two fatty crumbed chicken pieces with sometype of sauce and further unnecessary soggy salad. The pork belly was burnt underneath, crackling not crackling and meat tough and un chewable . We did not finish the mains. Unfortunately I had to remove the food from my mouth and leave on the plate.- On paying the bill we were gobsmacked the total was $190! This is madness. $190 for the worst food I have ever experienced in a restaurant.- The lovely waitress asked if everything was ok and we were polite and said no, the food was not good at all.- If you are considering a night out, save your money and try one of the local pubs or RSL where you would get a better pub meal or buffet.I will say that the two servers were doing their best and were warm and friendly.We dined there on Friday evening at 6.30pm.I do sincerely hope this assists you in lifting your food game up to where it could be.

First time here last Friday. Basic menu, but food was delicious. They had a 3 piece Jazz band which added to our lovely night. The jazz band was great.

went with a group of friends was outstanding service , quality and exellant value for money-especially the 3 course deal. will be going back to try all the great meals on the menu.

Amazing!! We had our family lunch here and we left full, satisfied & had the best day! Everything served today was on point...the steak was cooked perfectly! Awesome service, just like one big happy family!Couldnt recommend it enough, if i could give more stars I would!! You will not be disappointed visiting The Heart of Europe!

Food was amazing and so was the customer service and atmosphere. I’ve been looking for somewhere locally with this quality of food and now I have found it .This will become a regular for myself and my family. Thanks so much Heart of Europe!

Went on Friday night for the first time. We read all the reviews and decided to give it a go.The young waitress was very polite and on the ball. She made it feel like the restaurant was all about customer service. Good job.There was a lady who came out a few times to ask how everything was. Turned out, she is the new owner that everyone was talking about on the reviews. She really does care about people's experiences at her restaurant.Friday was unlimited ribs (which I had) and my partner had the chicken schnitzel. She liked it. The ribs were great. They came with chips and a really fresh tasting salad. We will be back.
