Salvos Stores Mona Vale
Amazing op shop where stock turns over very quickly. They have a huge variety of clothes, homewares, books, furniture and bedding. I’ve found some great bargains here! The staff/volunteers are very friendly and are always happy to help.

Huge variety of everything..some of them are great bargains but some of the items are definitely overpriced. Not making any sense..Not spotless clean. Staff is neutral I would say-not friendly but not rude..The shop needs little bit of care and happiness.

I’ve been shopping at this Salvos since at least 2016. Sadly much has changed - not for the better. Prices are at times, completely ludicrous. Better deals at K-Mart for new items with a warranty. Clothes are not the only items ridiculously priced. In fact, everything is. From knick knacks to electronics, it’s hardly worth visiting anymore. And what seriously annoys me is how selective they are with what they put on shelves. I used to love buying old cassettes and vintage electronics and hi-fi, but I know for a fact that almost all of those things go directly into the bins now. I’m less and less impressed every time I visit. Such a shame.

Covid has kinda wrecked things here. It used to be a super busy store. Not so much now. Hopefully they can bounce back quickly. Plenty of fashion and homewares on offer and all at affordable prices.

They had an item there which still had the original price tag from Woolworths on it. It cost $0.40 from Woolworths and they were charging $4.00 for it! Ridiculous.. they put a huge price tag on items they got for free.. bunch of cheap skates in there.. not to mention the weird people who works here.. especially the lady at the front counter sounds like she’s got emphysema..

Horrible experience donating today. Left in tears. Called early to ask if they were taking donations…resounding YES. Arrived only to be snapped at & treated in a very nasty manner. What the nasty lady didn’t know is that I was donating some of my deceased mother’s items after clearing out her home. Zero compassion or kindness.
