I booked my Land Cruiser in for a GVM upgrade after another company left me high and dry.From the first phone call to the day of pick up and also a few questions I have after. They have been nothing but professional. The upgrade it’s self is amazing and happy with all the work they have done.I highly recommend DMW for any upgrades you do on your car. Amazing to deal with, stood by their quotation after a price rise, assisted in the sale of my 200 series rear bar after removal, constant updates on progress. Iain and the team have been a pleasure to deal with and works ahead of schedule!

Got my Toyota 200 series GVM upgrade done through DMW pre-rego. So glad I went with them as not only was their work outstanding so was their customer support. I was given updates as to what stage the car was at as well as follow up calls once I received the car. Would highly recommend these guys. Brilliant work.

We recently decided to do a 200 series dual cab conversion with no chassis extension. After getting 4 quotes and talking to a lot of others companies we decided to go with DMW. And so glad we did. The service and support was unbeatable. They answered every silly question we had and also built our 200 exactly the way we wanted. The quality of there workmanship is second to none. Having seen a brand new patrol come back from being chopped with MULTIPLE imperfections including a horrendous paint job (bad blending and spots completely missed!!!) and then reading the response from DMW to say all issues where an easy fix for the owner and that quality on the back wall isn’t a priority because it’s going to be covered by a tray/canopy, and there being no offer to repaint/compensate after having the car for months, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone looking to have a vehicle chopped.

Hi Adam,Just thought I’d share my story with you and your team at DMW!A little over 12 months ago my wife and I had a trip planned to do the Gibb River rd in Kimberley’s in northern WA for our 50thBirthdays. In the months leading up to our trip I was a little concerned how my old ute would hold up during the trip!Around 9 weeks before our departure date, which was made around our work commitments and our adult kids who were also coming along, I found myself in a position to buy a new ute. After showing my wife a 79 series Landcruiser the decision was made for me to look for a chopped 200, and she said “you just sold a Truck what would you want one of them for !”Time was ticking so I goggled chopped 200s for sale thinking I might be able to find a 2nd hand one, but there were very little around. So I rang DMW and spoke to Adam asking if they had an ex demo or if he new of anyone with one for sale.No was his answer and I was deflated, he then asked what my budget was and I gave him a rough guide thinking there was not enough time for a new build.He said it was achiveable to build one in that price range but time was short and he’d ring me back later that day with a build schedule. I got off the phone and wondered if he thought I was a tyre kicker and if he’d ring me back!Within an hour he rang back and asked when are you leaving on your trip?The date was 8 ½ weeks away I said, “no problem you get me a car here ASAP and we’ll have it ready for you to pick up” was Adam’s reply.I went straight to our local Toyota dealer in Echuca Vic and told the young salesman what I wanted to do, he was shocked that we wanted to chop a brand new 200 in half and had to get the boss! He was great and arranged a new car out of Down Town Toyota in Brisbane and had it trucked to DMW 3 days later.Next thing I get a photo from Adam saying we’ve got your car here and it’s chopped in half!Over the next few week’s a long list of extra’s were added for the build and at no time did Adam say they would not make to dead line.We flew to Brisbane knowing the 200 would be ready on time, and collected it from Down Town Toyota who had arranged Vic rego with my personlized plates which were sent up from Echuca Toyota.The Guy’s at Down Town even came and picked us up from our accommodation!It was great of Adam to meet us at Down Town for the hand over and fully explain all the modifications. Next job for us was to pick up our camper trailer from Ipswich and send it to WA!The ute is now a little over 12mths old and I can’t find a fault with their workman ship anywhere. Nearly every day I get looks from the young blokes and asked where I got the conversion done.I would highly recommend these guy’s if you are thinking of a chopped 200 and thank DMW for their input into MY XT 200. Poor communication, poor workmanship and a genuinely horrible experience. If you want a good job done on your car after spending 100’s of 1000’s on your new vehicle I highly suggest you don’t use this company! The build quality is appalling especially after spending so much money and time sending a vehicle here. If I could give 0 stars I would. Think twice before using this business.

No sorry, unfortunately I do not recommend DMW! So disappointing, a so called reputable company, only interested in 'likes' on social media.Quick to take a large amount of money, life savings that cannot be recouped.Did not meet the agreed requirements or expectations of the job booked.Zero /abhorrent level of customer service, involving cohersive and narssasitic behaviours. No follow through or genuine approach to seek a resolution.The results of the works paid for, poorly executed, with no resolution from DMW have unfortunately now resulted in our vehicle deemed no longer road worthy and illegal. Yes, the vehicle is off the road.What a real shame! Was a big fan, alas, no longer.Thank you DMW!

Never return phone calls. Engineering hide behind sales team. It’s time Reuben spends more time managing the front end and less on socials.
