These cabins are just amazing and a credit to Tasmania Parks. Watching the sun come up over this was spectacular..oh and the cabins are awesome.

This walk is a must. Awe inspiring scenery, fabulous huts. Loved every minute..even the walk to toilets at night...met a possum and wallaby.

Never stayed hear but checked out camp on the way through and it is an amazing camp location and building design and layout mostly timber built and of highest quality with cosy cabins and 2 heated kitchens and huge outdoor decks .These cabins can only be booked as part of the 3 capes walk tour and from what iv hears and seen I can only expect an incredible experience .There is a really nice ranger that lives on site if you need any help too

Tas Parks have outdone themselves with the Three Capes Track. Well worth the $495 fee to walk this trail.

Nestled at the base of Mt Fortescue, Retakunna Cabin makes for yet another restful night on the Three Capes Track. My tip; climb Mt Fortescue at dawn to enjoy the early morning light as it filters through the rainforest high on the mountain.

Retakunna, Night 3 Three Capes Track
Glamping at its finest. The hut is set amongst the buttongrass plain with views up to Mt Fortescue (the final day's walk). The kitchen and dining areas are spilt like Surveyor's and is a relief after the hectic nature of Munro's kitchen at dinner time.
