Talk about service! I don’t think that I can ever shop anywhere else for jewellery for the rest of my life. Ricardo Jewellers you have just won yourself a loyal customer! I really could not recommend this store highly enough.The story:I had a watch with a band that was 1 link to small. I have been searching everywhere for a link to be able to make my watch wearable again. I had written to the supplier with no help and the contact for the Australian distributor was, quite frankly for want of a better word, rude. Basically, I was at the point of giving up and I walked into this local jeweller to see if there was anything they could do to help.Being greeted with a warm open smile I knew I was off to more than a good start. When I handed over my watch and explained my story the first answer was “leave it with me and I’ll see what we can do” an actual positive response, after over a year of looking someone was going to help me! Heavens parted a single ray of sunshine beamed through the clouds to illuminate Ricardo Jewellers, FINALLY someone was going to help (ok it wasn’t that dramatic but you get the idea). I left my watch and went back to work feeling better than I had in months.As I walked back into the store in the afternoon I knew that there was nothing that could be done, the extra watch link was never going to be. However, I didn’t leave empty handed. After some discussion, we decided to go with a leather band. I am not normally a leather band kind of girl but as the very correct advice was given “at least you will be able to wear and enjoy it and if you find your links, bring it back and we will change the band back over”. (as a matter of fact i an wearing my watch today) I actually felt like I was being helped out by family, like this loving aunt and uncle had tried everything but wouldn’t let me leave unhappy. After picking out a band they fitted it while I waited, again a tribute to the service. We discussed all the jewellery that I like, plans for Christmas, I went looking for more watches (that I didn’t need but will probably end up buying). We also discussed a watch that was left to me in my grandmothers will and how it wasn’t working. You can 100% be sure that I will be taking it in and getting it serviced here. There is no one else in the world that I would trust with something so precious to me.If I could give more than 5 starts I would! Ricardo Jewellers’ fully understand the importance of fine jewellery, the fact every piece has a story and that they are not only preserving the item but also the memory.

There isn't many jewlery shops around like this one anymore. It's surprising to see how many jewlery shops don't do watch repairs anymore, they all have to send the watch away or wait for the watchmaker to come to the shop so it's no longer an option to get a band fixed or a battery replacedon the spot. These guys did it quickly and with a smile. Thank you.
