Hallett Country Store
Each time I have driven through this town on the way to the barossa, this store is closed.Twice now I have needed petrol, thinking this was the nearest place before Burra and have arrived only to find it closed. Today I arrived at 3.15. The opening hours are until 4 but the place is closed.Don’t count on this place being open if you need it. Better to bypass altogether.

Great place to grab breakfast with fuel. Good friendly people and very welcoming to a group of motorcyclists attending the Great Southern Adventure Rally.

Fuel available Sundays, also they run a BnB in a train carriage next to it and a great cafe opposite. Handy to the Wild Dog Pub for meals and drinks.
