The Bar is an awesome gym to train at everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The trainers are great and very motivated. They really take the time to help you out if you're unsure about your form when doing certain exercises etc. Group classes are amazing and they always switch it up. The classes are available during morning, arvo or night so suitable for anyones schedules.

I started at the bar beginning of August a little skeptical about how much it would help, since starting I've lost 6kg is 2 months and I'm in the best shape that I've ever been. These guys push you hard every session, but also they've created a family atmosphere here where the trainers know everyone's name. Great business model and a great place to workout!

I took a chance on a FB ad that was about a gym in Toowoomba.I had a phone from Lochie (owner) to run though my reason as to why I was looking into The Bar as my gym of choice. I was honest and said that I’d been to “conventional gyms” and had lost all motivation since moving from Victoria. I needed something different to peak my interest.My journey at the Bar has been nothing short of amazing. From my first walk through with Lochie and setting some goals and getting a good feel for the vibe, I signed up. It was only a three week challenge yet felt it was what I needed to get that kick up the butt to get myself moving again. A lot can happen in 3 weeks.My very first SPT session was with Sasha, now keep in mind is not trained a muscle since March this year and now were in to August. She was open and honest, easy to approach and tell her how I was feeling and going. I’m now with a different trainer Lachie and I’m loving his advice on technique and that he pushes me to my limit.All the trainers are super friendly and happy to help/guide/push you when you need it or they see you have the potential.The Bar is not a conventional gym. It’s a place to call home.

One thing I've learnt after years of training is consistency is king. Consistency requires motivation, support, accountability, flexibility and fun. The Bar with its trainer's and programs offer you all the tools you need to enjoy staying consistent. Ispent years gym hopping, until I joined the bar. Now I've nearly been a member at The Bar for two years! I encourage anyone to come along and give it a try!

Since starting in January 2019 i have now lost 16kg and looking good to hit my 12 month goal of 20kg weight loss. The trainers provide excellent support and the atmosphere is amazing from the moment you walk in. The support is not just in the gym either. There is continual support outside of hours with training partners and instructors. Would give 10 stars if it was an option

This is the only gym worth going to in Toowoomba. Sensational. Each of the trainers is 10/10; they're also really good at their jobs and highly professional.There are few things more satisfying than joining a group training session at The Bar. I would put it on the same level as waking up to the sound of a mousetrap going off - it gives you the warm and fuzzies for sure.I'm not much one for nutrition and healthy eating myself, but having listened to the trainers at The Bar and seeing the results of those who DO follow their nutritional guidelines (such as calorie tracking) I can definitely see the benefits. I think the results of members are testament to the genuine care that trainers at The Bar have for their clients, they really want to see you succeed. An anecdote: when I was younger my mother used to attend my swim meets and hockey games and cheer me on with unrivalled passion. As a kid you think it's more embarassing than anything, but as an adult you realise that more accurately, it's the unfulfilled dreams of your parents being lived vicariously through their children. The Trainers at the Bar aren't like this though, they don't push you to get results for their own glory, they really just want to see fitter, healthier, happier people walk through the door every day.So yeah 5 stars, couldn't recommend highly enough.

The group sessions are great. Everyone is welcoming and encouraging. Very helpful. Trainers will personalise exercises if injured and recovering. Sessions go from 5.30 am to the evening.

I've been a member of The Bar for a few months now and my health and fitness has changed dramatically in that time!I've progressed from maybe going to the gym once per week, to going several times a week, and upgrading my membership to include Personal Training, thanks to the knowledge and support of the trainers, and the wonderful community of other members.This isn't a gym you go to and put headphones in and block out the world. It's one that builds you into the family. You're greeted with a smile from the trainers, checked in on when you haven't been to sessions, and supported every step of the way, no matter your fitness level, age or gender!I'd strongly recommend The Bar. You won't be disappointed!
