Barossa Airshow

Aviation!! I've only ever skydived into Roland Flat, so to see it so busy with some cool aircraft was awesome. For such a short runway, the pilots did well.The model rc jets were incredible, and the others also put on a great show!

We loved seeing the planes and helicopters. But the event is very poorly organised and managed. We had to wait over an hour in traffic just to get a park. And even though on their website, they said it will make a great family picnic day, they don't allow us to bring food into the venue. That wasn't mentioned anywhere on their website, and we prepared a lot of picnic food for the family, which we had to leave at the entrance. And then, they don't have enough toilets for a large crowd. There seem to be only about 25 toilets and there are easily over a thousand people. We would have to wait in line for over half an hour to use a toilet. So, we left much earlier than we planned and the overall experience is just really unpleasant. We ended up driving to a cafe 15 mins away from the show for toilet. Honestly, it was just a shockingly horrible experience, especially when we have a little kid with us. I hope it will be much better organised in the coming years but I am not sure if I will go back again.

Way to many people. Under catered and 1 way in 1 way out lead to 1.5 hours to get into the car park. Lined up for a hotdog for 30 mins to be told all sold out at 1:15pm.

Loved the show. Thanks for the itchy feet. Just a pity we had to follow vehicle instructions which took us 45 minutes to get to the allocated paddock park resulting in us missing two awesome aerial displays

Actual show was great but access to site, toilets and food could have been much better.

The planes and helicopters are good, but this show is a mismanaged mess.Arrival: It took us one hour of queuing in the car to get into the place (just queuing, not travel). The queue extended into a main road and was blocking traffic, several cars were u-turning to get out of it.Food: An event that's advertised as a picnic style atmosphere" in their words

This was our first experience and probably our last. The car park management was terrible, over an hour to park. Not great with 3 young children in the car. However, the worst part of the day was getting charged $35 for 6 doughnuts and 6 mozzarella sticks. Price gouging at it's finest. When I challenged the vendor he just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. Clearly, no event organiser was checking what this vendor was charging. All he needed was a mask!! If you want young families to come, let them bring a picnic and make it a pleasant experience.

Great day. Skilled and awesome pilots and interesting plane displays. Commentary was relaxed and humorous. Good selection of food vendors and excellent management of toilet facilities. Look forward to attending next time.
