They are adorable, though not extensive so are easy to miss. I did enjoy having some pretty (if small) ponds to check out while walking, and the creek was also lovely in spots. Sure, in other spots it’s a not-so-pretty drain, but the Dandenong Creek Trail (among others) is generally a great one to walk.

Newly re-done wetlands, looks like an awesome habitat for out aquatic birds.

Not all that big but a great use of the land. Water areas of different sizes incorporated. Backs onto the Dandenong Creek pathway which links up to other parks and wetlands. Looks fairly new so may be a work in progess or waiting on nature to develop. Would not make a special visit but if your close by.....

Ride through here all the time, used to be all grass and weeds, now there are tons of natural looking ponds and great scenery.

Nestled between the rolling greens of a golf course lies a hidden gem of a wetlands area, teeming with local wildlife. This picturesque setting offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and a chance to connect with nature. As you stroll around the wetlands, you'll be serenaded by the cheerful songs of crimson rosellas and rainbow lorikeets, who flit from tree to tree in a kaleidoscope of colours. If you're lucky, you might even spot a king parrot perched high up in the branches, its vibrant red and green plumage standing out against the blue sky.But the real stars of the show are the ducks, who paddle lazily in the waters of the wetlands. With their sleek feathers and comical waddles, they never fail to bring a smile to your face. You might even catch sight of a family of ducklings, following their mother in a neat line as they explore their watery home.As you take in the sights and sounds of this idyllic setting, it's easy to forget that you're just a stone's throw from the golf course. The wetlands area can be a peaceful oasis, offering a respite from your normal busy day activities. You're sure to leave feeling refreshed and renewed, with a newfound appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds you in this area, which I would say is perfect for locals. However, if travelling, I wouldn't be going out of my way to visit when you could find other bigger beautiful spots to visit & explore. This one is perfect for locals and for those who don't mind continuing to walk along the long bikeway/walkway where you can still visit other smaller buch walks & wetlands.

Many wonderful wetlands and large old trees supporting habitat for wildlife. Great place to ride your bike along the Dandenong creek corridor and stop for a picnic, tables and chairs are provided. The brand new outdoor gym equipment is great for stretching and strengthening muscles.
