This is a little gold mine of local history. You can see the care and love each item represents as part of the community. There is a raw honesty. A tribute to the settlers on Nyngan. A must for a visit if you are passing through.

Amazing, extensive collection of local artefacts and history. One of the best local history museums out there. Friendly and helpful staff too. Highly recommend.

The pole-mounted helicopter is eye catching. But then you have to find the signs and read the small print to find out why it is there.For an outdoor memorial or museum the signage needs improvement - particularly with regard to (a) sun angles, and (b) the paths people would tend to take through the car park.

What a nice museum, great collection of old photos & goods, the towns history and the 1990-floods which impacted everyone who lived there at the time - great video showing how the whole town worked together trying to save the town. Great exhibition of letters & photos of WWI & WWII. Thank you to the volunteers wotking there and the volunteer on duty who explained even more to us.

Arrived with 30min to spare, 5 of ud wouldnt get admitted as close to closing. Bloke at counter was to busy gaming playing fortnite!

Great museum with some interesting exhibits. Really good to see old disused railway stations utilised like this. Friendly staff on hand to answer any of your questions.
