Atrocious experience. I worked here for 2 weeks and the company completely abuses worker’s rights and dignities’ by any standard. I was the only Australian working there, most of the others were Pacific Islanders who could barely speak a word of English. They are being exploited to a degree far beyond modern slavery, getting paid way below minimum wage. The workers face brutal verbal abuse and humiliation from the supervisors and managers daily and constantly. Threats of withholding payments are constantly yielded. I was denied ‘permission’ to use the toilet on 2 occasions. Furthermore, I was sent a payslip for my work while the company somehow “forgot” to actually put the money into my account. It’s shocking that this can occur in our country.This is a total disgrace and completely illegal.
