Finally on bike yesterday after various repairs from my local provider only to find myself in serious trouble on road to Canberra with rhythmic scraping noise which sounded like front wheel brakesLimped into Boorowa and lucked upon old school bike mechanics who test rode, diagnosed, fixed and got me on my way for a reluctantly accepted carton of brew.Money never once mentioned - it was all about rendering bike safe to get me to Canberra.Turns out my home town workshop had over tightened chain plus used inadequate (ie zero) lube which caused serious stress (and growing noise) on front sprocket. Very close to chain lock which would have been disastrous at highway speeds.I made it to Canberra in one piece. Thanks boys. I’m seriously contemplating the 4hour ride from home for my future service needs.Tuck
