Steingarten Lookout

Amazing lookout that is hidden away and a bit harder to find but worse every minute drive more. The view is just magnificent

1 of the decent lookouts to visit when ur in SA. the lookout has a platform on both sides of the road for photos. unfortunately, theres a closed gate and this place seems became private property but you still able to park by the gate and walk up the lookout for 7-10 mins. the road is gravel and is steep, not ideal to visit on wet day

Magnificent views, hard to find words to describe how beautiful nature has presented to us. The best time to visit would be during the sunset, please make sure you keep the gates closed all the time.

Went to there once and took nice photos.

Easy drive, follow the road around to complete the loop.

A beautiful walk in the cooler months as it is green.Just don't miss the sign posts or its a trip down to Rowland flat and back up Trail Hill lol

One of the most beautiful view around Barossa! Worth your time and film！

Great view BUT warning ⚠️… the gate’s shut and locked if u’re coming from the north! So u could only go from the south on the road (which u’d also need to pass through gates but u could open and shut it urself afterwards).Please visit at your discretion and do not trespass into the vineyard. 4WD better on the road but FWD also possible carefully.The little wild kangaroos were adorable and u might also see them if lucky.Honestly, the GBA Parsons Lookout just slightly south of it (15-20 min drive away) was much easier to get to and offered similarly spectacular view… Whether it’s worth the effort to go up to Steingarten Lookout may be subjective, but I think it’s justified only if u had spare time in the area.
