Absolutely love this place. We travel all over Sydney to eat all types of food as unfortunately the quality of ethnic food in the lower north shore is nowhere near as good as elsewhere in Sydney, we can only hope this will change in future. I rarely post reviews at all but the lower north needs more restaurants like this. This little restaurant is yum and we are so glad to have it nearby. The place is exactly as it says - very homely cooking and atmosphere and not like standard Lebanese restaurants. There is lots of variety for a small restaurant and we tried some things like the babaganoush, eggplant special, tabouli, sausages with pomegranate sauce and kibbeh - will have to return to try other things. Everything was delicious. The wine is very reasonably priced or you can byo. The service is very friendly and homely. It has a very warm feeling and brings back some nice memories of travelling in the Middle East. I only wish they were also open at lunch time!

What a find!! After a long hectic day I was looking for somewhere to eat when I stumbled upon this little gem!! Not only is the food so delicious and amazing but the owner was so accommodating.. welcoming.. and cheered me up from the crazy day I was having. I was in hysterics laughing and felt like a long lost friend. Thank you to Mez and her staff. Beautiful food and a beautiful energy in this gem of a place. A million thank yous xxx

Glad to have tried this place tonight and we had baba ghanoush, lebanese bread, kibbeh and lamb skewers. Lamb was very tender! Warm and efficient service too!

Had a lovely unplanned dinner with a friend at Mum & Dads on a Friday night. It was lively but the service was friendly and prompt. We had Dad’s hummus and lamb cigars as an entrée and the Gedos Spiced fish for the main courses. Dessert was a perfect baklava. Delicious!

I did an Uber eats delivery of this place and it didn’t allow me to review so hence why I’m on here. Quality of the food here is 11 out of 10. So good !!! My new go to for middle eastern in the lower north shore.

As the name of the restaurant alludes, Mum & Dads is a cosy family-run establishment with wonderfully home cooked Lebanese food. Perched down Hayes Street, it is a much welcomed addition by the locals. Alfresco Street side dining is also available which is lovely during balmy summer evenings.

We popped in for an informal dinner on Sunday night and we had the most lovely time! Staff were so friendly and welcoming, heaps of suggestions and full of smiles. The food was sooo fresh, tasty and flavours were incredible. Can’t wait to return with friends!PS highly recommend the eggplant special ☺️

ONE OF THE BEST food experiences we’ve ever had! And one of their lovely team members gifted us a free dessert which I believe was a Baklava and I have nooooooo words for how insanely good this desert was. Can’t wait to go back and back and back and back again. 20/10, all food was fresh, made with love and so very delicious. Beautiful atmosphere! Warm and sincere team members!No photos were taken but we can highly recommend the Falafel Wrap.
