These guys are pretty unique in Australia, there simply isn’t any other business with the range and stock that Awave has. Audio and music gear that you will not find anywhere else in Australia. I’ve bought probably half a dozen music/studio items from them and they’ve always been shipped within the day, usually quicker. And they use StarTrack express so they pretty much always come the next day. They do have a nearly $40 flat fee for shipping, which may seem a bit steep if you’re ordering something small - but they also have a points system if you sign up on their website, so after your first purchase you’re pretty much always getting a discount using the points. Most of the time for me it’s been enough to cover the shipping fee. Customer service is pretty good, I’ve had a minor issue with a couple of orders and they’ve always sorted them out pretty promptly. All in all these guys are doing a pretty damn amazing job, bringing audio gear to the Aussie market that otherwise would just not be there - don’t ever close down, please…

As a bus compressor the sound is so sweet, smooth and modern, you can also split into two mono compressors or mid and side, this makes it super versatile for many studio tasks. The saturation sounds great too and the whole unit can be controlled from a plugin allowing you to save exact mastering settings and automate parameters all from the listening sweetspot. The unit has great side chain options, you can duck a trance pad with the external side chain and then saturate it. Great product!Black Lion Audio PG-1 Power ConditionerAfter unboxing I was immediately impressed by the build quality of the PG-1, it's really solid, built like a tank and also looks badass cool. The unit is reassuringly heavy I really feel like there's some serious stuff going on inside. It was really easy to set up with 2 separate power outputs for my Analog gear, Digital gear and Speakers, there are also 2 outputs on the front which will be great for Guitar sessions. My initial impressions are that the sound of my system is much cleaner, it may be imagination but the top end sounds slightly less brittle if that's possible. The other thing I noticed was my active speakers and sound card were giving off way less heat than usual. The PG-1 gives me confidence that my gear is safer and my sound is clean I think it's a great investment and would recommend it.

Bought a Burl B80 Mothership recently and had an issue with one of the channels cutting out which I was using as my main monitoring. They gave me a replacement Orca card so I didn't have any downtime while they shipped my card back to the US to be fixed. Super happy with that!

Fantastic business. Lewis is very helpful and offers great advice. Purchased a pair of barefoot monitors and could not be happier. Will be back for more stuff as the need arises. Highly recommend.
