The caring staff of this aged care is so rude and do not know how to talk with other people. Not all, a few staff specially one lady. She is thinking she is the boss. Very disappointed service.

Thank you to every staff member at Mount Carmel.My Father recently passed away after receiving the most dignified palliative care. All staff were so supportive to my Mother( she is also a resident) and all of our family . After my Father passed the support to her continued with the most genuine heartfelt care.I can highly recommend Mount Carmel for all reasons mentioned along with the cleanliness of the entire home.

We went to Southern Cross so we could have a short break as we care for our Father who has dementia. Within 24 hours they we're ringing us to request permission to give him antipsychotics because he was confused and asking to come home. He was not combative just distressed because he was in an unfamiliar place. We refused permission for the drugs and they discharged him the following morning. This is the kind of place the royal commission into aged care is for. We do not recommend this place to anyone.

Mum has been a resident here for a few months. The staff are caring and attentive, facilities are excellent and there is always something for mum to do. It's a hard decision you make when finding residential care for an ageing parent and there are some horror stories out there, but as a family we are more than happy to visit mum and leave knowing she's well cared for. Of the most importance is that mum is very happy there. Great work Mt Carmel.

A very updated beautiful care facility. Excellent laid out residents rooms extremely clean facility and wonderful caring staff. Meals on table clothes well set out. Just a remarkable facility with near everything on site.
