Great venue with lots of character. I asked for the music to be turned down so we could talk and they were so polite and obliging. I had leftovers that we took home for lunch for 2 days. Food was exciting with surprises, theatrical even.

Dhaba at the Mill
Dhaba at the Mill was a recommendation for great food with a cool interior and great vibe from a stranger I was buying a Marketplace item from. Took a chance and I’m so glad because I’ve been back twice in less than a month and have told everyone about it! Best Indian food I’ve ever had in Australia. So yourself a favour and make the trip because it’s so worth it for the food alone, the fantastic staff and cool interior (an old flour mill) are amazing bonuses.

Delicious meal with generous portions of curry, so we ended up with plenty to take home afterwards. I loved the garlic paratha and mango lassi especially, and was very impressed by how prompt and friendly the service was.

We travelled over an hour to eat at Dhaba after reading great reviews… it did not disappoint. We’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants and this would have to be one of the best.Authentic, incredibly tasty and perfect sized potions.Service was great and the staff were very friendly.Highly recommend Dhaba at the Mill

One of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. The food was flavoursome and fresh. The staff are so friendly, especially Kimmie who recommended the delicious palak paneer, and the atmosphere inside the historic building is cool too. We’ll definitely return the next time we are in Kyneton.

Our family love this place. The food is very traditional with a slight uniqueness. Must try if you’re driving past Kyneton. Every dish is a winner. Best Indian in Victoria.

Hands down an absolutely amazing venue!!! Very well priced... attentive and friendly staff members and the food was flawless! Would gladly drive 2 hours each way to visit this place again

Dhaba at the Mill is located on Piper Street in Kyneton and managed by Owner Chef Ajay Pal who takes great pride in running this quaint restaurant specializing in Indian Cuisine.Try the appetizer Papdi Chaat and main course of Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice amongst a host of other Curries from Fish curry to Roganjosh along with Black Lentil Daal.A must visit as this is a historic old Mill converted to Dhaba by the mill where you also get a glimpse of some old Indian movies...Great quick service and friendly easy staff...

Sunday night buffet with the family was amazing! Great vibe in this hip spot with high quality traditional dishes. Truly the best butter chicken I have ever tasted! And we have visited many many Indian restaurants throughout the country. Do not miss this spot!
