Hertz Car Rental - Rocklea Dt HLE

Poor service, waited almost 40 minutes without being acknowledged on arrival, with an office full of customers and one person on the counter who was clearly overwhelmed and sat on the phone for 15 minutes. Had to wait outside in the heat as no room left in reception, got misleading information about my $200 deposit from a second staff member who advised that funds are not taken out of your account and sit in pending. Blatant lie, funds debited immediately, staff member had no knowledge about process. Rude and unprofessional. Look elsewhere is my advice!!

I called prior to my booking confirming if a vehicle will be available when I show up [because I saw a bad review(s)] as well as what I needed to bring.The young lady I spoke to on the phone was rude and rushing me on the phone. She told me ‘yes just come with your photo ID’.I waste $30 on an uber to wait 15min upon arrival, when she stopped typing on her computer and started to address the long line of customers. She refused my reservation because I didn’t bring my Debit/MasterCard. Ultimately, another $30 to get back home…

I have a hire car included in my insurance policy but have been told that only certain locations have cars with infant car seats. For a car hire company this is very poor service. hHaving to travel an extra hours trip to another location to pick up a car with car seat is just not good enough. Each location should have car seats on offer.

I was so impressed at the service I received, so helpful & friendly. It was for an insurance loan car & never have I had to use it before. I would truly recommend them to everyone, so professional & quick service. The young male who looked after me was so nice, I wished I had thought to get his name to show him I appreciated his thoughtfulness & manners. He is an asset to Hertz.

The car was nice and it was clean but they can be a bit snobby as I filled the car up the day b4 as I only had a 4 min drive from my place to there but because I didn't have the fuel receipt for the day I dropped it off. They made me take it to a petrol station and try to put more in it. I got $1.44 in but it was so over full I could see the petrol just sitting below the rim. She told me to get as much as i can in. They didn't tell me when I picked it up that the fuel receipt had to be on the day you dropped the car back. Not happy about the$200 deposit that they take out straight away but as your doing some sort paperwork when bring the vehicle back the money takes 3 to 5 days no not right. I need the money now.6pm

Very happy with the service, staff, truck during both picking up and returning the truck. Appreciated the smooth process pre-pickup and dropping off of the truck as well.

Called 3 times to customer care had chat almost 5 mins each .then was advised to put on hold and never hear back.poor service

I was impressed when I picked up my hire car thanks to the quick and friendly service of the lady that served me. On returning the car however, I was a bit disappointed that I was unable to get through to them via phone the day before (within their open hours) and the return took 45 minutes due to them being busy.
