Southern Cross Vet Clinic Pet Concierge Marc was amazing. A very friendly person who loves animals and carried my very heavy cat so caringly from my front door to Dr Edmund and home again. So happy. Thank you Marc.

We had great consult and the Vet was very friendly and caring. One issue, we were charged $60 for a cream for our pet that you can get for only $15 at the Chemist.When we questioned this we were told Unfortunately that is our standard price".My tip

Have been there several times for my Persian Cat. They did the first two vaccinations for my cat and it was awesome as my kitten felt no pain. During vaccination sessions, I talked to vet about my kitten eye discharge problem and he said it’s normal for Persian ones. When the discharge issue got worse, we visited the vet again and the new vet said that it’s an eye infection and could be treated easily. I was upset as the kitten has experienced huge uncomfortable over the past months because of his eye discharge problem. We met the centre several times and they prescribed medications to treat eye discharge. In the beginning, the eyes start to heal and I thought my kitten will be free of pain and suffering soon. However, the eye discharged back after couple of months. They charged us huge and provided medications with much higher cost than others. Really disappointed and will not visit again or recommend. Southern Cross Vet Surry Hills sounds suitable for general staff like vaccinations but needs to improve significantly in other areas.

Dr Sam and his team are the best vets in the area. Very caring and take the time to ensure they find the best treatment pathway for your furry friends. Highly recommended!

I’m so grateful to the team here! I had a stressful time calling around for any vets to perform tooth extraction for my handsome pup. I took him to my local vet and they told me they couldn’t remove his tooth as it was risky and instead referred me to a specialist. The specialist only had availability in 3 weeks time but his surgery needed to be done asap. So so glad we found southern cross vet. Not only did they offer a free consultation (with Dr Tony-he was so knowledgeable and made me felt so comfortable and less worried) for Royce they set the surgery straight away for the next day which went very well. Royce came home with a cute toy. Thank you Tony, Edmund, Nurse Aurora for looking after my baby. You guys will be seeing us again very soon! Keep up the amazing work!! Also the fees are way cheaper than my local vet I used to go to.

We've taken both our cats Ollie and Pepper to this clinic and we had a really smooth experience. Dr Edmund is very good with cats and despite our girl getting a few needles, she didn't cry and he made it seem quite painless. Really happy with this place and will be back!

Took my new kitten in for his vaccines - very quick, efficient, stress-free and painless, and I appreciated the call the next day to see how he was doing. I also got driven to and from the appointment by Marc, who was amazing!! Hopefully won't be going back anytime soon, but I know we'll be in good hands if we do.
