Ordered a salmon special for $18 got a grilled piece of salmon in a cardboard box. Ordered a side of chips with it also totalling $26, not a bad price but my god they need to teach the chef or cook whoever is at the grill how to cook some salmon, so over cooked, dry, cold and be honest if I hadn’t waited 45 minutes for it would have sent it back, they even attempt crispy skin which is laughable because you get a blunt wooden knife to try and cut the skin. If your gonna charge $18 for some fish at least put some salad with it and learn to cook it properly. I don’t leave many reviews but this place is dogs*%t don’t waste your hard earned money on this place. I’m surprised they haven’t closed it down.

Decided to try this place again since it was renovated after leaving a 1 star review 4 years ago.Renovation is great but the place still sucks.Food is very average. Potato scallops were cold, chips were bland, crumbed calamari was soggy, chicken burger had no flavour, and best of all we couldn't even cut through our over-cooked crumbed fish with the paper cutlery in the cardboard containers. And wasn't cheap either. The least they could do is have plates and cutlery for actual adults.Such a beautiful location but spoiled by terrible quality. The loud music also sounded like a 90s disco party at 2pm on a Friday. We left as soon as we could, didn't even finish our drinks because the vibe was so bad. Won't be back.Only good thing I can say about the place is it's a beautiful spot, the toilets were clean and the staff were friendly. Might be a decent place to have a drink with mates if you're a fan of repetitive dance club remixes

Great location. Food average.. Scallop Pie was NOT a pie, but a salty, 2 small scallops, no filling shell with one mouthful of pastry on top. At $24 it was barely an entree.

Renovations are great and setting is beautiful but food is awful. Our meal was drowned in salt (which we did not ask for), the fish flesh was slimy and black. Found out later that it was imported and prawns were under cooked. Very disappointing for such a nice location on a good day.

The only reason I’m giving it a 3 star was for the atmosphere & location.Food was below average, paid $22 for a piece of over cooked fish (asked for beer battered came out crumbed) . The only $$$ for value on the menu was the oversized onion rings. This was one of the main reasons for booking at the big 4 and what a flop unfortunately.

I am only giving it one star as the location and renovation is beautiful. However that can't outrun the most disgusting overpriced meal I have ever had in my life. I would give it -10 for the food and service!I was charged an extra $2 to have my fish Grilled even though it was $20 to start with. The kicker is for $22 I got a palm sized piece of fish that was the consistency of a rubber boot that tasted like a handful of rock salt had been thrown on top. This $22 fish comes with no side so I get to pay and exta $6 for some chips. Then you wait 5+mins for a drink when there are 3 bar staff with a line 3 deep.We were with family who of which got flake instead of their red emperor that they ordered and we only learnt this when the staff admitted it upon returning the inedible fish!Absolutely avoid this if you want a decent meal and a don't want to die of thirst.

Called in for lunch in this refurbished and larger oyster bar. The two of us ordered the share box which included prawn cut, eye, calamari, fish and chips with a nice garden salad.Considered it a fair price even though it is served in a cardboard box but eco friendly utensils are provided. What impressed me was the freshness of the product. All the seafood was fresh and tasty. I normally go to Saviges on the island for my fish and chips but will definitely return here. Atmosphere was so pleasant with a nice sea breeze and a rustic wooden roof which I think has replaced a Perspex roof which was hot underneath.

Stunning Views, Amazing Ambience, Friendly Staff. The food was nice, more variety for those who couldn’t eat seafood would be ideal, but understand why the menu is so select. Great catch up space, with lovely beverage, the cocktail jugs were lovely.

Nice location and ambience, with friendly service, but have had better fish and chips elsewhere; here they were overcooked and the prawn cutlets were very oily. The salad of the day was unavailable and the Greek salad was limp and soggy with nearly flavourless dressing, with only 2 pieces of cucumber in it (one of the main ingredients of Greek Salad). The fresh seafood choices might be a better option when dining here.
