Completed a repair to a fence at a rental property and went into my garage WITHOUT PERMISSION and used my shovel and bucket. Left the bucket ruined with cement and ran off with the shovel.

This review is for B from Hire a Hubby, in the Redlands, I gave one star as he turned up on time to give a quote. He wanted to do the job his way and when questioned as to Why that particular way was better, he got an attitude and stormed off sayingfind someone else". Super glad business is so good he can turn down jobs."

Do not, I repeat DO NOT engage this company for anything. I booked a Job with this lot July 2021 it was supposed to be done in 4 days and I am still fighting with them to come and finish the job, have gone through three of their workers and still am waiting for a resolution to the breach of contract. Their workmanship guarantee is worth nothing. Do yourself a favour and stay well away.

Had a very positive experience with hire a hubby recently. Bathroom painting, staining of French doors, fixing roof gutter and dowpipe. Peter, Shannon and Frank were friendly, professional and punctual. Have had other jobs done by hire a hubby over the years and always happy with their work. Definitely will continue to book their services . Thanks everyone

Daniel from Hire-a-Hubby (Morningside/Bulimba area) was fantastic!I had 2 issues - Kitchen tap was leaking water into the cupboard underneath and the glass shower door fell off (breaking the plastic hinge part).Upon first calling him he asked for specific photos of each issue so that he’d know what he was dealing with in advance and could show up with the appropriate parts.He was professional and friendly resolving both problems and even sharing some tips I could use for ongoing maintenance. I can’t offer high enough praise to him for fixing these two issues so quickly.

Hopeless. First they turn up - then nothing. On another job, they quote, then nothing. Then they don't bother to reply. Rude. Cavan in particular. Dont waste time waiting for them to turn up, or quote, or answer calls. It's like they can't be bothered getting out of bed
