Golden West Dog Training
We paid 95$ for an hour session with our 3 month old puppies in order to get a roadmap for their early learning training but the methods the trainer used were outdated and rough. He instructed us to control the dog through manhandling and smacking, then rewarding, in order to have the dog respect you through the belief that you are in charge and it does what you say or you'll kill it". When doing an example with their first leash training he was rough with the puppies which caused them to be fearful

Golden West Dog Training offers an excellent service. Not only did Collin teach my dog, more imnportantly, he taught me how to handle my dog correctly. Through this training I have an even better experience with my dog and she is alot happier and secure in her body language and behaviour. I cannot recommend this service enough. On top of training, they offer boarding services. My dog loves coming here and she is excited as the car pulls up

Colin is absolutely amazing, our dog Lunar had behavioural issues and needed to be trained correctly. Colin transformed our beautiful blue heeler into an amazing gentle loving dog. Highly recommended for quality training and attention to detail.Would always recommend Colin to dog owners, he is fantastic
