Barbeques Galore Caringbah

Seems a bit pricey for my likes.They tried to sell me this fancy bbq at so called half price. We were looking at a $500 4 burner bbq. The one they tried to push was $990 (on tag said reduced from $1700 That's not half price. Plus it was only 2 burner with new style burners. A quick google review search rated it as rubbish (5 ×5 stars and 10×1 star).We did much better upstairs at Harvey Norman.

Great customer service from James, BBQ was on sale at a good price, assembly instructions were easy to follow.

We went in to look at purchasing something. We waited behind the check-out to be assisted, and the guy behind the counter was looking something up for another customer (we didn’t know this at the time as the customers weren’t there), and he didn’t even acknowledge us. We waited a couple of minutes before walking out.

Terrible customer service. My BBQ was delayed by 5 months, which isn't great but I could accept that if there was regular communication from BBQ galore. However the order was delayed on 3 separate occasions and not one person from BBQ galore ever called me during my 8 month wait to advise me of the delay or to apologise for the inconvenience. I've also sent feedback emails with no response. They clearly don't care about customer satisfaction.Edit in response to below - I have no case number, as no one has ever contacted me from BBQ galore. If you really wanted to resolve the issue, you had 8 months to contact me via phone, or reply to my emails.

I wish I had read these reviews before buying. In January, I bought a Traeger Smoker / BBQ. I tried to set it up on Australia Day. It had a mechanical fault. Not the fault of Barbecues Galore. My issue is the lack of action since. As far as I can tell the only action has been to allocate a Claim number. I have had no feedback in spite of follow up. Next stop seems to be Fair Trading.

Good enough, however the store Is a little smaller and volume of variety I would expect from a bbq hardware store is lacking.

Love the way the Caringbah shop displays the products. The knowledge of the staff helped me make the best choices. I loved the after sales service and keeping me up to date with my goods delivery. Thank you for the freebies too.

Awesome company to deal with-great range of quality products- friendly and expert staff

Absolutely apPAULing service. I went to the Caringbah store 2 weeks ago for a spare part for their own BBQ and was told they will call me later that day regarding price.The part is normally on the shelf but the shelf was empty. It’s now 2 weeks later and still no call. I dropped in after 1 week and I am sure it was forgotten about but I was told otherwise. It’s now 10 business days later and no call and no parts. How on earth can Australia move forward with such disgusting service. No one cares these days. It’s as if it’s not the shops fault but my fault for wanting to purchase something from a retailer. Retailers need to realise that without customers, there is no business and no jobs. The same goes for any business. I don’t understand the purpose of letting customers down and losing them.Would I recommend BBQ’s galore? NOWould I shop there again? NOBut well done for doing such a good job losing customers.2 years later now, and still waiting for that phone call.
