American Nails

Came to this place only to get acrylic infills after my normal place was all booked out. Before coming I did research for American Nails and the prices for the different services. For a simple nail infill (no design or art, just a flat colour) it's priced at $30 online, however after getting the infills they said it was $55 and they only take cash. So I had to go across the mall to get cash out.If your prices have changed, please change them online. It's very misleading and just bad business.As far as the nails, they are fine, but some have bubbles in them. Too much money for what they are.It's safe to say I probably won't ever come back to this place and will just make sure to book in advance for my regular place (which, mind you, is run by only one woman who still manages to have an efpost machine).

Brenda did my nails yesterday and they are perfect. Great attention to detail and her colour suggestion was spot on. The salon is always spotlessly clean and I love the friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to this amazing nail salon for nearly 2 yrs. I had no nails but always dreamed of having beautiful nails. Brenda and her beautiful team have over the years given me beautiful nails to be proud of. The service is amazing and the prices are great, I get acrylic nails and toes and pedicure for about $115 which is a amazing price especially as I get a great massage as well by the beautiful massage chairs. Can’t recommend this salon highly enough. Thanks for restoring my nails. Michaela

I went into American Nails with the idea of getting quite crafty nails. I was sceptical of them turning out the way I wanted them (like the picture I showed), however Andy exceeded my expectations. Andy went above and beyond to achieve the look that I wanted with his own twist. He was particular in ensuring that they were even and made them look fantastic! I am disappointed that I don’t live closer, otherwise I would go to Andy time and time again. Unfortunately, I don’t think I could find other nail salon that could top American Nails now. They were very well priced considering the time and effort that went into doing them. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely awful experience here! Very unfriendly staff! I went in to get a couple nails fixed and the lady with the star tattoo absolutely butchered the skin around my nails, left me with chunky and uneven acrylics & left a bunch of acrylic on my skin.

$90 for a full set of acrylic with only one layer of white painted tip. Insanity. Honestly from the service to the quality and the astronomical price. Not impressed.I arrived and said I could come back as they were obviously busy and I had a lot to do, i was told no take a seat. I waited Half an hour to even begin. From there one person started then left, then came back and finished putting tips on, then they left, 10 min later a diff person put acrylic on and forgot my thumb, then the first person came back and did my thumb and made them thicker and left, then they came back 5 min later because even dried there was such little acrylic put on them that they were bending like it was just the plastic tip. The rest was alright just so many stops and waiting.The end result has bubbles in the polish, acrylic on my skin and lumpy finish like it hasn’t been filed enough, the shape isn’t very defined either. The full set took just under 2 hours.I won’t be back. Sorry guys.

I’ve been coming to this salon for the past few months and I honestly have the best experience every time. The nail technicians are always polite and friendly, and they always do a great job whenever I get shellac done. The polish is always clean and I’m always happy with the spa pedicure experience. Will be making many more visits in the future!
