It's very cute, not as big as some of the other places i have gone. Where to pay entry fee was very confusing, no volunteers around the area anywhere, ended up paying entry at the cafe after our vist, many people had the same issues

This is such a lovely spot, for a picnic, to enjoy the cafe, to admire the art gallery and of course - learn about the history of the area. The volunteers have taken SUCH great care in caring for this beautiful place.The volunteers were incredibly helpful and welcoming, we’ll be back here and we’ll bring others to enjoy!

The staff taking tours here are amazing. Very prompt for the whole tour. The different historical aspects and buildings were amazing to see. There's also a restaurant for a snack.My personal favourite part was the interactive nature of the tour, especially the fire engine. I recommend taking a visit here to people trying to explain to littlies what life was like 100+ years ago.

It's my 3rd visit to this interesting collection of old buildings, displays and artifacts to view. Very friendly run and great value and great for kids to learn about the early settlement days.

Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum
Just off the motorway at Beenleigh it’s tucked in opposite Mitre 10. It cost $4 a person and then extra for jumping castle, pony rides or petting zoo. There was heaps to see and do for the kids or those who are historically inclined. They have a variety of demos to enjoy throughout the day which are well run by the staff. There’s also a coffee shop / cafe available. The images will give you a feel for what your money gets you but for $16 for a family of 4 it was a great morning and early arvo out. Not much parking so you have to park on the road. Jumping castle is small but there’s heaps of animals in the small petting zoo area.

Kids loved it . Such an amazing experience for kids and adults. Staff are really friendly, really well priced for a cheap and fun day out,the little Cafe is situated in a beautiful area just beside the aboriginal shows they do at night. Would live to catch that show!

Was a family fun day. Unfortunately the petting zoo, facepainting were cancelled. However we had a wonderful family outing! Mr 7 loved the blacksmithing display and Miss 10 enjoyed learning about the printing press. I bought some lovely little handmade gifts and enjoyed some of the best crepes I've ever eaten. Nice to get out for a few hours.

Aspects were kinda cool. It was advertised as a family fun day type thing, but the face painter cancelled and the pony rides were cancelled, so 5 kids aged from 3 to 12 all became bored. They all enjoyed the fire truck with the water hose though
