Beacon Lighting Scoresby

The one start is for the Scoresby store staff who were wonderful - pity the warranty claim process reflects badly on them.So one of my white LED pillar lights went yellow. Scoresby advised me to lodge a warranty claim (thank you).Warranty call:Beacon electrician came, took the light off and found the problem was that water had gotten in and there was rust sitting in the bottom causing the light to throw yellow instead of white.Here's where the problem is...- Beacon were happy to replace the light (thank you) -- they gave me a new one but would not install it- The electrician had uninstalled the faulty light BUT was not able to install the replacement because technically" it was an installation issue- Their electrician re-installed the faulty one and made sure it was sealed properly! Well at least I know the faulty light is going to continue to display the same fault with no issue!!!- Why? Beacon did not want to find that if the other one did the same thing that I might claim against them for that one - because they fixed this one. Doesn't giving me a new light already open them up to that????Makes NO SENSE.- you've given me a new light

A lighting store with a good variety of lights and service is generally quite good. Staff seem to have good product knowledge. Plenty of special offers are available throughout the year and goods can be refunded if they don't suit so you can shop with peace of mind.

Great store, extensive product variety with a genuine helpful service. Well worth the in store visit.

The staff were very helpful but not all of them were overly friendly but we were looking for lights on a public holiday so I'll give them the benefit of doubt.The product range was quite impressive even though we chose 2 out of stock items by chance but they were on runout. The other items we chose had plenty of stock and were exactly what we were after.I was very happy with my experience and outcome of my visit.

Great shop and wonderful young lady working there - totally helpful staff!

Great variety of products but most are not priced, three staff members wandering around the store who were not helpful and I wouldn't buy from this store.
