The Guitar Centre at the Gabba
Highly recommend The Guitar Centre. We had visited another guitar shop on the northside of Brisbane however this shop's range was far superior. We were served as soon as we walked through the door, their knowledge of stock was very informative and they also offered us a student discount, not mentioned at the previous place. Staff are very professional and friendly. We'll definitely be back with two budding guitarists in this family!

This is the only guitar shop I’ll go to in Brisbane - the service is second to none and the employees are all invested in making sure you end up with the right stuff for who you are as a guitar player. Sean in particular is knowledgeable, invested in the customer as an individual, and takes the time to show you the full range of options to help in your decision. Sean has twice put me onto guitars that have been absolute winners and match who I am as a musician. Thanks for your awesome service :)

A while back I had my 1977 music man stingray into these guys because it was crackling and sounded like rubbish. They fixed it a bit but not properly. And made some excuse about how they couldn’t do anything more. It used to have a beautiful tone with its ash body and top quality Seymour Duncan pickups but it sits in the corner not getting played because it’s not what it used to be and annoys me every time I think about it.

With very little guitar knowledge and a young son who had been playing for six months, we headed in to the Guitar Centre looking for our first ‘real’ acoustic guitar! Garry was so helpful in finding the right one highlighting all of our options and their differences. We left informed and so happy with our new guitar. Definitely recommend The Guitar Centre for excellent options and assistance.

Recently brought my slightly out of warranty Jaguar for repairs and a setup. Had a chat to the Luthier himself, we got on the same page about the repairs, they might take a week or two.Next day phone call for pickup, and an awesome job on the guitar. fixed fret, levelled and buffed frets, nut filed down, bridge placed and neck levelled with a shim.Couldnt be happier with the job!
