Hippy Luxe

No warranty on faulty goods unless returned within 7 days of purchase.I rang Hippie Luxe Picton today and spoke with Kim. I informed her that a wardrobe handle I had purchase about 7 months ago, from her, had broken. I told Kim I had pictures to show it was a manufacturing fault and asked if she had any of the same handles in stock as the broken one was on a double hall cupboard with the other handle still attached. She asked for a pic which I sent her and then waited, almost an hour before deciding I would call her back. I spoke with Kim again and she told me she had not had a chance to look because she was so busy. She then went away for a few minutes and came back saying they had none but she was putting in an order, did I want her to order me one. I said do you mean I will be paying for a new one. She said of course. I attempted to explain it was a manufacturing fault and I could bring it in to show her. She said it didn’t matter as I should have bought it in within 7 days to have it replaced. I said it wasn’t broken then, it broke 7 months later. I asked if there was a warranty on anything she sold and she said ‘no, that they had a 7 day return policy’. She said that stops people breaking it when then don’t like it anymore. I said I love the handles I bought and from memory I paid about $15 each for them. I said that I thought there was a civil law that said that a purchaser has a right to expect the item they purchased would function as advertised based on the amount of money the purchaser paid for that item. At this stage Kim had started talking over me in a loud and scoffing voice she repeated ‘no sorry, no sorry, no sorry’ about 10 times. Then she said she had customers to service and hung up. Leaving me bewildered by her arrogant, dismissive attitude and poor business practises.

Best shop around! So many treasures, great clothing range, fantastic staff. Kim is the loveliest, always up for a chat. Definitely a go- to shop for unusual gifts.

This is a must go creative, classy, colourful country Boutique Shop!All in one go, for a nice buy of zen feeling gifts which they wrapped in a very unique, posh colours!The staff are amazing and oozing with their positive energy!When your in Picton, you’ve got to pop in at Hippy Luxe! Whenever in Picton I like to pop into Hippy Luxe to see what’s new. The store is amazing, so colourful and attractive. The staff are nice and the variety of items are great.

Beautiful store with the most gorgeous items. So much variety, I could spend an entire day just discovering beautiful dresses, candles, jewellery, bags and so so so much more. The employees and owner are absolutely wonderful, kind and so welcoming and helpful. The store looks like an enchanted hippy fairy kingdom/wonderland. The items I purchase from Hippy Luxe are so unique and I can't wait for my next visit. 100/10

Best shop ever! The loveliest of staff with the best service. Such a great place that supports small businesses while celebrating art and culture. It’s my one stop shop for gifts of all occasions (or just for myself!).

The ladies at Hippy luxe are great. Yesterday while on my way to a party, l needed something red and white for my hair. I had given up hope after not finding anything near where l live when l remembered about this great little shop. I rang to see if they had something the lady that answered the ph was very helpful.When l arrived not only did they have the perfect thing but the lady working even tied them in my hair for me. Which was wonderful as the other or alternative was my husband. So thanks again ladies.

This store is okay! the staff have always been super friendly. However i do see a lot of cultural appropriation in the store which is not the best look. the prices are okay, but some items can get pretty pricey for what they are worth.
