I was givin very poor communication upon first attempt of delivery, most likely so they could sting me with a re delivery fee. Plus my package looked like it was dropkicked off the back of the truck upon redelivery.after reading most of the other reviews I guess I got what i expected.

Thought I'd try them again. Once again let down.Was told 8am deliveryRang at 10am was told before 12Rang at 12 and was told it hadn't been loaded and then told 2pm.Not sure why they need to lie all the time. The lady abused me when I asked why they told me 12. She said. I was being generous and she was tempted to not even send it due to me calling and asking for an eta.

Tracked my order from vendor using Direct Freight Express over the course of a couple of days. On the day of ETA of arrival, I get an email before 08:00 saying it's onboard for delivery. I am active around the house since 7:30 and suddenly when I check at 9:45, the tracking says that it was not delivered and a card was left. 1. Doorbell did not ring, I do not live in a mansion and I can hear trucks and vehicles come and go. 2. No card was left. What do these drivers actually do and where do they go?

Parcel is 3 days late. An ‘investigation’ assured me the package would be delivered today…nope. Customer service is exceptionally poor and staff are abrupt and unhelpful. The sub-contractor conducting the delivery consistently refuses to answer their phone and as a consequence DFE has no idea where my parcel is. More concerning they appear not to care. They will start another investigation but will not commit to a delivery date or keeping me updated on any progress apart from an e-mail at their convenience. A poor company, using poor sub-contractors with poorly trained and contemptuous customer service staff.

I ordered Christmas present early, based on all the talk of delivery delays, and my lack of faith in the company's suggested delivery time of 3 business days. However, despite placing my order at 9:30 at night, I received an email at 5:47 the next morning from Direct Freight Express advising my item was on its way and due the next day. I then received another update when it arrived at the depot in my city.While my item didn't arrive on the day they suggested, it was delivered in 3 working days even with the lockdown restrictions.My only gripe is that when it didn't arrive on the day they suggested, the tracking information did not update, and I was unable to get through to confirm its status (I was on hold for about half an hour before giving up).But all things considered, I was extremely impressed with the service during such trying times, especially when I've heard stories of people waiting weeks for deliveries.

If I could provide a lower rating I would. Delivery driver left a call card with no opportunity to actually receive the delivery before he left (probably waited all of 30 seconds, and I live in an apartment).Was on hold with customer service for so long that by the time I got through to a customer rep, the delivery driver had already 'returned' to the Depot (somehow getting there 10 minutes faster than should be physically possible based on the tracking notes).Now delivery is delayed with no recourse available. Seriously unprofessional.

This is the worst possible service I have ever come across. I have been at home all day waiting for a parcel to be delivered only to see on their website that delivery failed and a card was left. Interestingly there was no card left either so clearly the person has not even made an attempt to deliver. This is the third time this has happened with these guys. I am now told they will attempt it tomorrow and I should be at home all day because they cannot confirm when they may attempt delivery - AM or PM.Terrible and rude service

I really don’t want to give even 1 star as there is no option for 0 star. very bad.. they got my parcel missing and they are not ready to take responsibility. They left the consignment number in the paper that state Sorry we missed you. But they are saying it’s wrong consignment number. 1 day they are saying it’s been delivered to wrong address and when i called them to follow up. they are saying i have wrong consignment number. Very irresponsible and very bad Customers representative from Hume.Now i don’t know where my parcel is.

I had a package I paid extra for express shipping, it was attempted delivery the Monday following purchase, as I wasn't home a note was left directing me to a link to re book. I re booked at my nearby friends house for the Wednesday as someone needed to be home, arranged for them to be home all day. Nothing, didn't even get loaded on for delivery. I called the following day and received a woman who said because I rebooked online that the depot likely never got the notification (Might want to fix this problem since all I got was the link to rebook), I then rescheduled for the next day with her, she said if I changed the address back I'd just be confusing people, however I did the right thing and made sure someone would be home so frankly I didn't need to be told I'd be confusing people. Next day, not on board for delivery, I called again and another woman said the head of the depot was sorry and throwing it on a truck then and there for delivery. 1 week later I still haven't got my delivery. Awesome job guys. Lots of room for improvement.
