Star Car Wash - Penrith Panthers

Please read all 1 star reviews before going here. All the 5 star reviews are fake.Dropped my car off at 10:50am for an 11am booked appointment, after walking by at 11:30am I noticed that they hadn't even started the service. After asking for a refund I had to wait another 25 minutes for them to find my key because they had lost it. I was also told to contact the head office for a refund, which is only open for calls Monday to Friday. Absolutely useless.

Third time I’ve taken my car here and haven’t had a problem. Recently took my car in an embarrassingly filthy state and it has come up as good as new of you ask me!

I got my ute washed and polished and when I picked it up, it looked great but now the next day I’m noticing things that weren’t done that I wish I’d seen before I payed $119 like the interior wasn’t properly vacuumed, there’s still dust and all sorts of stuff in where my handbrake is and there’s still mud on my passenger side footwell on the carpet.The outside looked good until I saw it in proper light when all the water marks came up and all the tire shine had come off my rims and tyres.Overall a 3/5 for the service

I have always hand washed my car myself as I wanted to maintain its factory condition as much as possible. With the right washing and drying techniques, I managed to keep my car scratch-free since I got it 3 years ago. But I was too busy and so made the fateful decision of bringing it to a hand car wash shop for the first time. I thought surely they would know the proper wiping techniques to avoid scratches. How wrong I was. They were not evident when I picked the car up because it was sunny. But when I brought it back home in a shaded parking area, my heart almost sank when I saw swirlmarks and scratches everywhere – on the fiber glass components of the windows, on the tail lights, they even managed to put scratches on the body of the car which has a ceramic coating on.Where it could have gone wrong – poor rinsing, abrasive wiping cloth, not using separate wiping cloths for shampoo and rinsing, wiping with force instead of just gliding the cloth. Oh well, I took the risk but never will I ever take my car washed at any shop again.Although I really liked the booking system, the staff’s friendliness, the punctuality of the service and the quality of the cleaning itself save from the scratches. I really wish they would revisit the wiping materials they are using and their wiping techniques.

I called if I could drop off my car at 5:15 pm for a wash and detailed. I am great full that they waited until I arrived and had my car washed and finished by 6:15. The job was immaculate. I’m very happy with the service. Thank you.

I usually have no issues getting my car washed here, but today I’m extremely disappointed. It wasn’t until I got in the car and started to drive away that I noticed the horrible interior job done. Rubbish was left down the side of my driver door, cupholders not cleaned, barely vacuumed, floor not cleaned. I payed for a platinum wash and I usually get all this and more when I get the normal star wash so after paying $55 for the service I would expect a better job, clearly lazy workers today. Not impressed and definitely will not be taking my car back here and will be warning everyone I know. I have photos too.

They did the job properly and my car was very clean. but don’t trust their working hours on Google. I went on a Friday about 5:30 pm and they were closed. The address on the map is not exact address, they are inside Panthers parking No 2. That might take 1.5 hrs to wash your car if busy

The wash itself was fine but in the process of cleaning my car one of the two men working there have damaged my drivers door handle. Unfortunately they deny it and the owner says they aren’t responsible although my car was perfectly fine before taking it there. Now I can’t open my door as normal. Not happy with their response or accountability for their poor duty of care. Definitely will be telling everyone i know and will never return for them to break anything else on my car.
