In response to Elliot there, this also happened to me before. I was also followed around by a trio mob that works there and was bullied. It's the worst Coles that I've ever been to whilst living in Thornbury for 4 years.

Come here regularly. Happy with the service. Friendly staff. Minimal waiting at the checkout. Carpark areas are mostly uneven, can be a challenge to push the heavy trolley.

Every time I come here I get followed around the store, and accused of stealing in quite an aggressive manner. This one time I went to buy muffins, then went to get cashout at the register. I realised the line was too long and decided to leave. The cashier stopped me and asked “Are you going to pay for that?” I stated that I had already payed at the self checkout, and that I worked at Coles if she needed proof. She then asked for a receipt, to which I didn’t have. She then refused to let me leave, stating I was stealing. It caused a whole scene and the whole line of people were watching. This is ridiculous behaviour.

Was just served by Corbin at the Deli! Lovely and welcoming, wonderful conversation, very helpful and fun to talk to! I hope everyone gets to experience the pleasure of being served by Corbin :)

Was very surprised that staff member 'christine' who was moving stock with a dedicated trolley came up very fast behind me, however didn't acknowledge me or make me aware of her presence, and then when I noticed her and politely moved myself out of her way, continued bounding forward to her task. She still refused to ackn6my presence. I guess at least she didn't just run me over with it. Unsafe practice, and extremely rude. Happened this morning.

In the Plaza, there are two Coles supermarkets. One to the northern end (aka 'Good Coles') and this one to the south (which goes by another 'local' name). If you visit both, you will quickly see the difference.....this one seems to have a smaller floor space and therefor fewer products.Having said that, there have been times when 'Good Coles' has been out of stock of something and I have picked it up here instead.Recommendation: Go to Aldi, Go to 'Good Coles' and if you still cant find what you are after, venture 'south side' to this Coles.
