There may be other places to get chips in town (the servo) but they don't even compare to how good the chips are here.Great chips, friendly staff.My only complaint has to be that it's cash-only.

Wonderfully nice people. However, highly inconsistent. You never know what your going to get. Every time Chips are cooked differently. There is a very broad size scale on the Flake. You go one time its huge, another time its tiny. Chip sizes keep changing. you never really know how much chips to order because one time medium will feed the whole family, another time Large wont even feed a single person. Burgers leave a lot to be desired. Quite small and quite ungenerous toppings/fillings. The current owners have been there for some time now and I had expected them to have worked all these things out. I suspect their heart is just not in it. I suspect they will sell up and leave Finley in the not to distant future :( Being the only Fish Shop in town, No one dare complain, I suppose.

Best place I've ever been. Great staff, great working environment and marvellous tasting foods.
