Best kept little secret. Since they renovated the place its really a nice restaurant. A cut above pub grub, super reasonably priced, really tasty food. Get involved.

Great venue. Lovely bar staff and pleasant atmosphere. We visited on a Thursday evening for the Chicken Parmy special. Of the four parmy options, and I chose the mexican. Nice and large portion sizes. A big thank you to Brian and staff for a 10/10 meal...if not the best parmy I have ever eaten. Credit to everyone there and will definitely return. (Photos could be better, but I started eating before I decided to take the camera out.)

Hidden gem? I don't think so. More like the land where time stood still. A bit like an old country motel bistro without the fun of being in the country. I struggle to find much positive to say. Decor is awful; even with a few patrons, the place is very noisy; meals took ages to arrive; menu is a little odd (our menu was dirty too); prices are pretty high for what you get; chicken was cooked really well. Will not be returning unless it is the last meal available on earth.

WOW!!!Driven past this bistro many times and finally stopped in for dinner tonight.We could not be happier with the lovely young lady who served us, the chicken parmy was the best we have ever had. Brian (the executive chef) even came out and had a chat. What a wonderful man. A sensational choice for a perfect meal. We even bought the lamb shank meal as takeaway for tomorrow nights dinner.We will definitely be ducking in again!

I vo to the duck inn fairly often and the chef is amazing the food is fantastic also the people are all like a big family most everyone knows everyone and it's a great atmosphere don't let it fool you the place is an amazing place and on a packed nite with bar full and bistro full the lace has an amazingly awsome atmosphere so come down for food as if it's on the menu garenty it's amazing I recommend the specials and also the chicken Parm with mushroom sauce and garlic parents chips and saless but bring streatchy pants also the prices of drinks is abhorrent like alot of brassieres around the duck in or spearwood tavern as we affectionally call it is a great freindly pub and had a good restraunt with amazing food so that is from a patron not staff I highly recommend this place as a place for a quit beer or a loud one or even a great meal with the family
