The first phone call with salesman Paul was great, I was excited to begin the process. We made an appointment with Paul, went through the floorpan and was told 2 weeks for an estimate. 1 month later I called following up, he said he's been busy...fast forward 4 months on and still nothing.If you are a serious customer, ready to build, avoid them!

We built with Selecta homes after visiting all other builders and display homes in SA during our home building journey.Not only did they offer fixed price contract, but also had more inclusions than other builders. The quality of products they used was also of higher quality sourcing from Australian suppliers where possible.We dealt directly with Michael for our whole build and he was very professional and always responded within the the day (sometimes within the minute!). He also always provided updates on the progress of our build.Whilst we were hearing about all the delays in the market, our build was completed within the expected timeframe which demonstrated their positive relationships with their suppliers and trades people.We are very happy building our first home with Selecta and have been recommending friends and family to them when asking for builder recommendations. If we ever need to build another house, we will definitely be going back to Selecta homes.

Selecta did a wonderful job of our home. The quality of the build is superb. The trades did an absolutely amazing job and our home is just beautiful. Selecta took the time with us to design the perfect home for us and from day 1 were friendly and kind. They were just easy to deal with. We thank Selecta for our beautiful home, we can't fault it and absolutely love living in it.

Our home was handed over six months ago. Overall we are very happy with the house but the experience was more stressful than it needed to be. That said, I have yet to meet anyone who has built a house in SA without problems and this was during COVID and major NSW floods impacting on supplies. So credit to the company for getting it built with only a 3 month delay; 5 stars for that effort.It is hard to give a single rating, on some factors it is 5 stars and others 1 or 2 stars. For example, the open microwave shelf we wanted replicated from one of the display homes is just a power point in the pantry, behind the door with no ventilation. There are paint splatters on windows etc.Handover was poorly managed.No follow up at the end of the maintenance period.Would I get Selecta to build another house? Yes, because they are not the worst, but I would approach it very differently.

Spent a bit of time designing a granny flat for my property, waited for the quote, followed it up many times and kept saying I'd get a call back. No one ever contacted me back. Waste of time and poor service. Would hate to see what the service is like once deposit it paid.

Onsite build of our home was amazing due to their client care and communication skills all their tradies were professional, their staff from the office girls to the site bosses to management we can't fault them on any level.Total legends

What a great company to deal with. Our home was built on site and the build time was exceptional. The house is exactly as we planned and professionally constructed by their excellent contractors. We looked at numerous other transportable builders and if you are looking for true value for money, don't go anywhere else. The best customer service....we highly recommend Selecta - do yourself a favour and go see them!

Called in on the weekend to get some ideas due to our Holiday home being flood affected. The salesperson was fantastic and answered all the questions we had. The finishes and designs definitely got our attention. Well done Selecta Homes.

I had a new home built on site and have experience have been an owner builder myself in the past. The whole process was a pleasure, there were delays in obtaining timber as the whole industry suffered the same problems but when construction started it was seamless. One slight problem with grouting but was fixed after a phone call. Contacted them three months after the build requesting a receipt and had it in 15 minutes. Highly recommend Phil D
